About
My name is Klayton Mai. I have been fascinated with reptiles as long as I can remember. It all started out with a Boa Constrictor named Vanessa. My father purchased her when he was only 14 years old and she was around the house even before I was born. Watching Vanessa in her cage mesmerized me and my passion for reptiles began. Growing up I had all kinds of pet reptiles including; water dragons, iguanas, box turtles, texas horned lizards, rat snakes and pretty much anything I could catch in the wild. When I turned 11 years old I finally talked my parents into letting me get my first ball python from a local pet shop. From that point on ball pythons became an obsession of mine. Six years later in 2003 I made my first investment into a morph. I bought a pair of 50% possible het albinos. A few years later to my delight they proved out and I produced my first albino ball pythons! I have been breeding ball pythons ever since and my collection has grown steadily. My other passion is MMA. I have been a professional mixed martial artist for a few years now and my pro record is 7-1. Six of those victories have been chokes earning my nickname Klayton "The Python" Mai. I guess watching snakes constrict prey all of these years has taught me a thing or two about constriction. It was this passion that helped spawn the name Caged Constrictors. I currently fight for Bellator Fighting Championship. Type in Klayton Mai on youtube if you are interested in watching some fights. All snakes I list are well established feeders and 100% healthy. I guarantee all recessive traits and sex on my animals. Dominate and codominate traits are listed to the best of my knowledge (theoretical genetics) and I will always disclose the pairing that produced the snake. All snakes are shipped using Fedex overnight shipping through Redline shipping. Weather is always taken into account before shipping.
