Chances are my story starts of like many others in this hobby. I was the young kid turning over rocks and logs and seeing what I could discover. I’d go down to my local industrial waste swamp and scan the water for turtles and I even got lucky one spring morning and found an army of turtles laying eggs. And so my passion for reptiles was born. I had a number of pets over the years, but when I got to college, I saw pictures of the Piebald and Caramel Ball Pythons and a new passion was ignited. The idea of breeding and recreating these mutations grabbed ahold of me. It would still be a number of years before I could finally take the plunge and by the time I did there was a whole world of incredible mutations and possibilities. So I got a few Ball Pythons (pieds) and a really cool Western Hognose project. Big Bang Reptiles was born and I mostly bred hognose with some dabbling in Ball Pythons and geckos. Eventually my interests evolved and I realized my passion was with the Ball Pythons and Geckos. I was older now and more focused. I decided I needed a name and a logo that best expressed who I am. And so, Critical Hit Reptiles was born. My goal is to breed the kind of reptiles I would be excited to buy myself and show off to my friends. I want the folks who get a reptile from me to be just as excited as I am when I add to my collection. That all starts with high quality health and genetics. So if you decide to get an animal from me to add to your collection, I am confident you won’t be disappointed.

Sales Terms and Conditions
General policies
I am confident that you will be happy with your reptile and that your transaction will be a positive one. Emails, texts or phone calls will be answered promptly, usually within 24 hours. Email is my preferred method of contact. It is your responsibility to know your local, state and/or federal laws. I also reserve the right to refuse sale to anyone for any reason.
Animal Guarantee
I guarantee all animals to arrive correctly sexed, feeding and in good health. I cannot control nor can I be responsible for any environmental conditions that may affect the eating habits or health of your animal after it has been in your care for more than 48 hours. I am more than happy to provide care information prior to sale and after to ensure your animal’s continued health. The pictures in my ads are of the exact animal you are buying and are not “representative” pictures.
Genetic Guarantee
All hets I produce are guaranteed to carry the genetics advertised. With regards to dominant and codominant traits, we are living in an increasingly complicated world and must rely on theoretical identifications. As genes get stacked on one another, it is becoming harder to identify exactly what we are seeing. I will always do my best to identify an animal and will consult with others to make sure I have as accurate of a description as possible. I will also err on the side of under-reporting traits rather than over-reporting. I’d rather you get surprised with something extra rather than not getting something you expected. I will also include breeding information in the description of each listing so that you can also decide for yourself what is present in a given animal. So all of this being said, I can’t guarantee the genetics on dom/codom traits.
Payment
I accept Zelle, Credit Cards via Square, Money Orders or Cash. For any sales over $1000, I will require Zelle for payment. I no longer accept Paypal as they have become increasingly hostile towards animal breeders and animal sales. Also, the name on the payment method must match the name of the person initiating the sale and receiving the animal.
Deposits & Putting Animals on Hold
A 25% non-refundable deposit will be required to put any animal on hold. Please do not send a deposit if you are not sure you want the animal or can pay the balance. An animal remains available for sale to all until it is placed on hold or purchased. So someone could buy an animal you are interested in while you are inquiring about it. If for any reason I can’t provide the animal of your choice, I will provide a full refund.
Payment Plans
Payment plans will be made available on a case by case basis. Once a payment plan has been made the animal will taken off the market and will be considered sold. Animals will be fed and maintained as usual at no charge to the customer. If for whatever reason the customer cannot complete the payment plan within the agreed time frame all money will be refunded except the 25% deposit. Most payment plans must be paid in full within the following time frames: month for anything under $1,000, 2 months for $1,000-$5,999 and 3 months for anything over $6,000.
Price changes
All prices are subject to change. As they gain weight they gain value. Therefore prices will be adjusted accordingly.
Trades
Trades MAY be accepted on a case by case basis. I will only accept trades in visual morphs and not Hets. If a trade is agreed upon, you must ship first.
Shipping
All animals will be shipped by FedEx (via Ship Your Reptile) Priority Overnight at a mutually agreed upon time, place and date, weather permitting. I prefer to do things correctly and in a manner that will lead to the fewest problems. So I will not rush shipping. I want to be sure the animal is ready for travel and that the weather permits for safety. Generally I will aim to ship during the week following payment. I guarantee live arrival and the customer must call or email within 2 hours of receiving the package to assure that the package has arrived on time and alive. You must be there to accept the package on the FIRST delivery attempt or my live arrival guarantee will be void. In many cases, it is preferable to have the package held at a FedEx location to minimize time spent on a truck and carrier mistakes. If picking up at a Fedex location, the animal must be picked up within 2hrs of availability to for the live arrival guarantee. I will require photos of any DOA's and may require you to send the animal back to me for verification before any refund, credit or replacement will be offered. Temps will be discussed before shipping, shipping will either be delayed or only to a Fedex location when temps are below 40 degrees and above 90 degrees. I only ship animals Monday thru Wednesday as that is the safest period to do so. Shipping costs are to be determined at the time of purchase based on package weight and your destination. I use heat packs when appropriate. If weather conditions do not permit safe shipping, I can hold your purchase until weather conditions are acceptable for safe shipping. Finally, there are periods of time where Fedex has been known to be unreliable such as during the holidays and at other random times during the year. Ship Your Reptiles will recommend sellers hold off on shipping during these times. I will not ship if it is being recommended against by SYR. In these cases, I will continue to care for your animal as if it were my own and ship once it is safe.
Note: My live arrival guarantee is void if you provided me with incorrect shipping information. Please carefully provide me with your complete shipping information and a time you will be able to accept the package.
