About
Serpents of Legend is the cool sounding name for the relatively small collection of ball pythons that my wife and I have bred and accumulated.
From our state of the art facility that replaced our dining room, we produce the absolute finest quality morphs in the world. I am literally saying that our snakes are better than everyone else’s.
Okay, there’s probably a few breeders with fancier stuff... But, for what we work with, ours are pretty dang nice.
What started as a childhood passion for reptiles, almost 40 years ago... Is still pretty much the same passion for reptiles, only I’m older now, and I occasionally sell some of them... Which is what caught my wife’s attention. We make a great team; I handle the feeding, cleaning, breeding, incubation, research, photography, advertising, marketing, correspondence and shipping...
She keeps records and takes the money.
Oh yeah... I've also been breeding geckos for just over 30 years, and still offer some extra super awesome rhacodactylus stuff.
As for the future, we hope to continue to offer great quality reptiles at fantastic prices. And also maybe some worlds firsts... And also I'd like to win the lottery.

We will always be honest and fair and do whatever it takes to keep our customers somewhere between satisfied and cartwheels happy.
We want our customers to open every package and think “Hell Yeah!”
Right now, we take PayPal and Venmo.
Locally, cash works too.
We ship through Reptiles Express, as they’re reasonably priced for exceptional service.

We guarantee all of our animals to be healthy, accurately sexed and genetically identified.
All Heterozygous Recessives include our “Certificate of Genetic Guarantee”.
This includes photographs of the Sire and Dam, the entire clutch of hatchlings, and of course, individual photos of the actual snake you have purchased.
Additionally, whenever possible, we will include any further photographic proof of genetics, such as the dam on her clutch (unless, in my excitement, I snatched the eggs out from under her before I remembered to take a pic, which I have done more than once), and ideally, pics of the actual lock (unless I simply miss it every time).
For the record, as of now, we don’t own any het males - only visual, so all hets are 100%.
Also, there are no mice in our home, nor are they welcome. Our snakes eat rats only, and if it’s for sale, it has eaten at least 4-5 rats.
