What do memberships mean?

  • MorphMarket members are sellers who have purchased a membership to support MorphMarket and gain additional selling features. The different levels of membership can be seen on our pricing page.
  • Generally speaking, sellers who have purchased memberships are more established and vetted than those who have not and membership should be weighted as a positive factor in your selection process; however, as mentioned above, MorphMarket does not assume responsibility for the actions of any seller on our site.

What is a founding member?

A Founding Member is a seller who purchased a membership in 2017 when we first created memberships and has maintained their membership since that time.

We are grateful for the support of all members, and especially those who have been consistently supporting our site since the beginning.

Do I need a membership for selling X?

MorphMarket categories are divided into mature and developing markets. To date, only Ball Pythons has been marked as a mature area. To see how membership affect selling in developing areas, look at this pricing page where extra benefits a membership will provide are highlighted in blue.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept payments from Debit and Credit Cards as well as PayPal. Memberships can be purchased for a single month or for an entire year, at a discount. Auto-renewal can be enabled to avoid accidental expirations.

How do I renew my membership?

You cannot renew your membership before it has expired. The Status section of the Membership page tells you the day when your membership will expire.

There are two options: 1) Enable auto-renew on your membership page, or 2) to let it expire first, pay, and renew your ads on the inventory page (which should only take one minute).

Can I switch plans at any time?

Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated with any remaining credit on existing membership. Downgrades, cancellations or changes from annual to monthly take effect at renewal.

For example, let's say you get the Standard plan for $300 today. 3 months later, you want to upgrade to Premium. Since you've used only 25% of your Standard you get a credit of $225. You'd pay $195 ($420 - 225) to purchase 12-months of Premium.
