Citron is an incomplete dominant mutation.
It was orginally bred to enchis with another gene called burst and was referred to as citron burst. I have since separated out the citron gene completely and believe burst may be polygenic and not a dom gene since its appearance seems to be random and not consistently replicated. But I will leave that up to other people to try to discover more about burst. - Justin Smith
The head of a Citron Ball Python is usually topped with a heavily faded crown, often with a mickey mouse shaped headstamp.
The body of a Citron Ball Python is covered in a slightly wobbly “alien head” pattern like that of a Normal Ball Python, but much brighter and cleaner tones are displayed, with heavy contrast.
The tail of the Citron Ball Python follows the same patterning as the rest of the body.
