About
The Emeralds, also known as Emerines, are a green color mutation discovered by Ron Tremper. Although the Emeralds are not a completely green gecko like the orange in Tangerines or the white in Blizzards, they still show different shades of green. Typically they will have different patterns, either Banded, Jungle, Striped, or Reverse Stripe. [1]
Ron Trempers LG Pro:
Green: AKA Emerald, Emerine, G-Project. Any gecko with a distinct amount of green pigment anywhere on the head, body or tail. The “emeralds” may come in any pattern phase and with any combination of colors.The term, “Emerine”, was coined here to describe a gecko that has Emerald + Tangerine on the body as an adult. The albino Emerine is known as the Extreme Emerine. The Solar Raptor is a G-project Raptor.[2]

It would not be considered an emerine unless you bought it directly from the people who are working with them.
History
The original Emeralds first occurred in Ron’s collection in 2004. They are featured in his book, “The Herpetoculture of Leopard Geckos.” Currently the genetics are still to be determined, but as of right now, breeding Emerald to Emerald will create 100% Emeralds. [3]
Appearance
Head
The head of a Emerine Leopard Gecko can vary.
Body
The body of the Emerine Leopard Gecko is usually a slight greenish yellow or orange and has a blueish bruising undertone to the colouration. This can be visable up along the neck, base of the tail and more commonly along the sides of the animal.
Tail
The tail of the Emerine Leopard Gecko can express the blue/green tone along the tail, though this is less common.
