The Nieves Tangerine geckos were pioneered by David Nieves in the mid 90’s.
The Nieves Tangerines are line bred Tangerine geckos that have a distinct look.
Currently it is very hard to find Nieves Tangerines which have not been crossed into other bloodlines. [1]

David Nieves was one of the first to develop the tangerine leopard gecko, and they had a very distinctive look about them. [2]
