This is a Recessive gene that connects and thin out the dorsal markings [1]
History
This is a fairly new morph originating from Nic Garofalo and inheritance is not fully proven out at this point. Originally we thought it may be an incomplete dominant trait as some striped lines are. Since no visuals were produced in this litter it would be assumed to be a variable expression recessive trait. Dave Colling has paired two visual animals and if this is correct, that complete litter should be visual. The final proof will be when my holdbacks reach breeding age and produce the first het x het offspring. [2]

Body
Pinstripes are characterized by dorsal patterns connected together with a fine dark outline. These connected patterns often have almost straight edges, not just multiple spots merged together in a zig zag type pattern. Some are only a few dorsal spots while others are near full body stripes. [3]
