About

Locally owned pet store specializing in reptiles. We offer full-line pet supplies, a welcoming atmosphere, and education on animal husbandry. Beasties is also a PACFA licensed NO KILL animal shelter. Many of the animals found in the store have been rescued and rehabilitated, making them available for adoption! Many people don’t know that the owner, Ron McClure, named the store after his own dog, Beast. With a simple play on the word it became a catchy name to describe what the store was all about, while honoring a great dog!

Beasties is located in Pueblo, CO. Any of our animals can be picked up in store, or shipped to a local FedEx Hub or your door step via FedEx.

Beasties is owned and operated by Ron McClure. Kent Sanchez is the online sales rep for Beasties and manages all Morph Market inquiries

Store Policy
TERMS AND CONDITIONS

All Sales will be subject to the terms and conditions listed below:

No animals shall be sold to anyone under the age of 18 years without parental consent.

Animals will not be shipped to any areas where it is prohibited by state and/or federal laws.

Ordering:

Please feel free to order animals via this website or call us anytime to order over the telephone. We will not ship animals until we have spoken to you and agreed upon shipping methods and dates.


All sales are first come first serve. Promises of a deposit, or stating that you will send payment later in the day does not reserve the animal for you. We will only mark and animal as on hold or as sold with payment.

All sales are final. If after you purchase the animal, you get cold feet or you have a "family/personal issue" occur that requires the funds used to pay for the animal, a refund of no more than 75% will occur. Please do not waste our time inquiring or purchasing an animal if you are not financially able to afford it.

Animal Guarantee:

We guarantee that any and all animals arrive alive and in good health if shipped to a FedEx Hub. Live Arrival Guarantee is only for animals being shipped from hub to hub. We will guarantee all animals will arrive healthy, however with the recent FedEx delays, we are unable to guarantee Live Arrival unless the animal is shipped hub to hub. All animals will be eating well, properly sexed and of the correct genetics as advertised. As such, shipping will only take place when weather allows. If animals are delivered to your door, you must be there to accept the packages or all guarantees are void. If required to pick them up from a facility, you must do so within two hours or all guarantees are void. If incorrect shipping information is given, guarantees are void. If you are unsatisfied in any way, we must be contacted within 24 hours of delivery.

Payment

Payment must be received in full before shipment or delivery of any animals. We accept the following forms of payment: credit cards, PayPal, wire transfers and money orders. If paying by credit card, please call Ron at (719) 696-2631 during business hours and he can process the payment.

Payment plans are possible with a 25% deposit for sales $3,000 and over. We prefer payment plans to stay between 2-3 weeks if necessary. Please message either Ron or Kent with questions regarding payment plans.

Returns

Beasties does not accept returns on live animal purchases unless the animal was dead on arrival or violated our animal guarantee. Please see our Animal Guarantee section for more information. Any return animals shipped to Beasties without prior consent will be refused.

Arrival of your Animal

When your animal arrives, open the container immediately and inspect it. If everything is okay, place the animal in its cage with fresh water. Shipping is a stressful time for animals. Try not to handle your animal for several days, allowing it to acclimate to its new environment. After 6 or 7 days you can attempt to handle your animal. During the first few feedings offer the same meal type as it was fed at our facility. This information will be contained within the sales ad. If anything is suspicious, please don’t hesitate to call us.
