Hello Everyone!
Thank you for your interest in Boxcar Exotics! I am a veterinary professional working clinically in small animal medicine. I got into the snake keeping hobby in 2018 but have been obsessed with garter snakes for as long as I can remember. I am a hobbyist and my animals are first and foremost my pets. The health and well being of my animals is the most important thing to me, and I take biosecurity very seriously. We quarantine new animals for 1 year prior to introducing them to the rest of our reptile room, and encourage others to do the same.
Currently I am breeding corn snakes (Pantherophis guttatus), and checkered garter snakes (Thamnophis marcianus). In 2024, my plains garter snakes (Thamnophis radix) will be breeding for the first time! My entire snake family consists of Kenyan Sand Boas, Ball Pythons, Trans-Pecos Ratsnakes, Madagascar Cat Eyed Snakes, and many species of garter snakes. I will answer any and all questions to the best of my ability!

I ship Tuesday - Wednesday using ReptilesExpress via FedEx priority overnight. I am only shipping to FedEx hubs at this time. There are no exceptions to this policy. Animals will not be shipped unless the entire shipping route is between 40-90 degrees Fahrenheit. All animals will be properly packaged and shipped with a hot or cold pack depending on temperature. Live arrival is guaranteed as long as there are no shipping delays, and the animal arrives within one day of shipping. If the animal is not picked up from the hub by the end of the day, the live arrival guarantee is void. Live arrival will not be guaranteed if the shipping address provided is incorrect. In the rare event of a DOA, I will need to be contacted within one hour via text or phone call with a photograph of the deceased animal.
Animals are guaranteed to arrive healthy, properly sexed and eating appropriately sized frozen/thawed rodents unless stated otherwise. Sex is guaranteed for animals that were born at Boxcar Exotics that I have sexed myself. I can make no guarantees for animals that were produced elsewhere. Genetics are guaranteed unless the ad specifically states I am unsure of a gene. Health is guaranteed for 24 hours following receipt of the animal. After 24 hours, I no longer have control over the animal's husbandry and cannot guarantee their health. I am not responsible for any fees associated with veterinary care. If you take an animal to a veterinarian, you do so entirely at your own expense. There will be no refunds or exchanges for any reason at anytime. Please be sure you have done enough research and are prepared for this commitment.
Shipping prices are dependent on your location. Please send your zip code when inquiring to purchase an animal. Right now I can only ship to the lower 48 United States. Animals will not be shipped until the animal is paid in full, including fees associated with shipping.
First time buyers or buyers new to Morph Market will be required to send a photo of their ID to confirm their identity. There are no exceptions.
All sales are final. Animals will not be able to be returned once they leave my facility.
Payment is accepted through Venmo, PayPal or Square. Cash is preferred when picking up an animal locally. Payment plans are welcome on animals costing $500 or more with a 25% non-refundable deposit and the remainder of the cost paid off within 30 days. Payments made on payment plans will not be refunded if you decide not to purchase.
I reserve the right to refuse sale to anyone for any reason at anytime.
