Store Policy
Payments:
-Payments methods accepted: PayPal and Zelle payments to [email protected]. Personal Checks not accepted. We have a flat fee of $60.00 in the USA. Payment plans are available only for animals over $500 and will be strictly adhered to. 25% NON-Refundable deposit is required to hold any animal and remove it from the “available” list. This initial deposit is due within 24 hours of consent to buy the animal. Failure to place the deposit will result in the animal remaining available and will be sold on a “first come first serve” basis. Additional 25% payments are to be made every 30 days with full payment made in 90 days or less. No exceptions! Deposits are refundable only if I am unable to provide the animal because of unexpected health issues.
Shipping:
-Shipping is via FedEx overnight through Ship Your Reptiles (https://shipyourreptiles.com) weather permitting. Shipments will be made on Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday. Please do not make plans to ship if you cannot commit to same day pickup. If you are not shipping to a Fed Ex Shipment Center / HUB, then a signature from the buyer of record will be required for delivery to be made. Buyer will be responsible for all of their state and local laws, rules or regulations regarding the types of animals received.
Claims:
-Upon receipt, we suggest an immediate inspection of the animal to determine satisfaction, health or injury. Claims must be made within 24 hours of the animals arrival, and are be made by Email. Phone calls with messages will not be accepted for this purpose. Any health concerns within 7 days of arrival require immediate communication with us, in addition to a Veterinarian signed note verifying that the health issue was not the result of poor housing, conditions, or handling after receipt of the animal. In order to initiate a return process, you must verify with us the conditions that you maintained for the animal after arrival. If these are considered “improper husbandry” or the animal was not quarantined; you will not receive a refund nor Breakneck Boa Co. credit. If it is discovered that the sex is incorrect in a timely manner we will promptly exchange that animal for one of the proper sex. The correct sex of the animal being returned must be confirmed by a Veterinarian and accompanied by a signed note stating the correct sex. We will pay for shipping in this instance. If the animal is DOA (Dead on Arrival) for non-carrier reasons, call us immediately and take multiple photos of the animal immediately from multiple angles then place the animal in a ziploc bag and place it in the freezer. *We may require physical proof of the animal and ask for the body to be returned in order for a full refund or exchange credit to be applied to the buyers account. *DO NOT discard the body as this will void any return or credit options listed below! A full refund may be requested if a replacement animal is not available or agreed upon by both parties. In that case, a refund for that animal minus the 25% non-refundable deposit will be provided to the buyer. The exchange animals will be carrying the same genetics and be considered by the seller to be of equal or lesser value. Animals that are DOA due to carrier error (late shipment) are covered under SYR.com's insurance but will require the same process as outlined above.
Guarantees:
-The animal you receive will be the exact same animal that you chose from pictures provided by Breakneck Boa Co. No “replacement animals” will be shipped without your knowledge! All animals are guaranteed to be properly sexed, healthy, and feeding regularly on appropriately size frozen thawed rodents unless otherwise specified. Our animals are sexed using the "rub method" at birth and while males are most certainly males, sometimes, females can be inaccurately sexed this way. Please conform the sex upon arrival and communicate any concerns with us immediately. All animals are guaranteed to arrive alive, healthy for a period of 7 days. Upon arrival, we strongly recommend that the animal be placed on quarantine away from your existing collection, but under proper conditions.
Genetics:
-Captive bred animals labeled as 100% for a specified genetic trait are guaranteed to possess that trait for their life time (this guarantee does extend to an animal that has been re-sold, trade or otherwise left the hands of the original buyer so long as the original invoice accompanies the animal.) If they fail to prove outwe will take the animal back and replace it with another of the same specified genetic trait or we will take the animal back and offer a refund of the initial purchase price. We will pay for shipping in this instance. Animals labeled as "probable or possible het" are not guaranteed to carry those genes.
