Putting a Gecko on Hold:
To place a gecko on hold with me I require a 25% down non refundable deposit. Once this gecko is placed on hold you have 1 day (24 hours) to either pay off the gecko or start up a payment plan with me. If you do not place a deposit hold with me this gecko can be sold at any time.
Payment Plans:
To start up a payment plan with me email me stating you would like to start one. After this you will need to put down 25% non refundable deposit. Once this is issued the full price of the gecko must be payed off within 90 days. Since I do offer longer plans I must have at least 33% paid off for each month. When I offer longer plans and there is no payments made till the very end it starts to worry us as these are not cheaper animals. So please don't waste our time and we will not waste yours. *I understand things do come up on occasion just keep me in the loop and we can discuss how we can continue the purchase.* If within the 90 days the payment plan isn't completed and you are not keeping me in the loop / not paid off within considerable amount of time all payments sent to me are final. I also do not guarantee tails at all during payment plan period as tails can drop without anything happening. Tails are aesthetic and they don’t need a tail to have a normal life. I will not refund or discount any animal for tail drops while in my care during payment plan period or waiting to be shipped. *Payment plans are only offered at certain times of the year since we do not want to hold your geckos from say march-mid September since we close down shipping during the summer months here in California due to heat*
Shipping:
I will only be shipping geckos to FedEx hubs for now on. This is a safety measure for the gecko. I do not like geckos siting outside of houses or possibly getting sent to wrong addressees. The hub location is temperature controlled so this saves the gecko from more stress being in a FedEx truck for longer and also less hands that need to be involved for delivering to you. The FedEx hubs require ID checking as well so please make sure the name you give matches the name of whomever is picking up. I will only ship out geckos when it is safe to do so. The geckos safety is my first concern. I am willing to hold the gecko till it is safe to do so.
I will not ship out a gecko if the day time temperature is below 55 (lows must be in the 40s) *hub pickup* and is higher than 85 degrees *hub pickup*. If the gecko does drop its tail during shipment *this does happen from time to time because of stress* don't worry this will not affect the health of the animal in any way it is more for looks than anything. I do not offer refunds based on dropped tails. If the animal is dead on arrival (this is a very rare situation but needs to be stated) please inform me immediately and send me photos. I will completely refund you for the shipping as well as the gecko. For DOA cases all geckos must be put into their cages within one hour of picking up from the hub and must be picked up within one hour of pickup time for hub pickup. Once picked up from the hub I do not offer DOA cases say your AC or Heat kills the animal on the way home. There is to many factors that can happen from the hub to your home. *Must contact me within the one hour of arrival to confirm this is done.If this isn't done it voids out the DOA refund & 4 Day Health Guarantee.*
Local Pickup: Must be placed into tank/tub within 1 hour of the drop off. (Pic of animal in tank- if not done this will void health guarantee). For local pickups I do also have a health guarantee of 4 days. *please read the health guarantee below for more info*
Health Guarantee:
I offer 4 day from delivery date health guarantee on all geckos. If anything seems off about the gecko or any sort of concern please message me, email me or call me immediately no matter what time of the day it is. The geckos health is my biggest concern. If I feel its necessary for a vet visit I will pay off any vet fees given for the gecko. If the gecko dies within the 4 day period I will ask you to take the gecko in for a necropsy. *Place the gecko in a ziplock bag and put it in the fridge *NOT FREEZER* until you are able to take it to the vet.If the results show it is something that wasn't based on your care I will refund you for the vet fees as well as the gecko. You must show receipts from the vet. This all being said the gecko needs time to adjust to its new environment so if you are handling the animal within this time frame it will void refund as well. Shipping causes a ton of stress upon these geckos so being in a new environment as well as being handled can cause issues. *4 Day Health Guarantee Not Valid if not contacted within 1 hour of arrival time for home delivery or 1 hour of arrival time at hub*
For Overseas Shipments/Exports:
Payments must be done through wire transfer. We do not offer any guarantee on tails as cresties can drop them for any reason and they do not need them to live normal life. For shipping I will ship or drop off to the exporter once it is safe to do so on both ends for weather & outside of the holiday season. I offer live guaranteed arrival to the U.S. based exporter, after that the animal is out of my hands. I can't control what happens or the care they receive at the 3rd party service. If a gecko arrives to exporter deceased I need to be contacted within 1 hour of arrival to hub location or their facility. I will not be offering any refunds after this 1 hour time frame.
