Unique Scales is a quality Ball Python breeder located on the out skirts of Houston, TX. Our main focus is to provide excellent service and healthy animals.

TERMS OF SALES, SHIPPING AND SERVICE
PAYMENT
Unique Scales accepts cash, cashier checks, money orders, Veno and Zelle. All checks must clear the bank before shipping takes place.
DEPOSITS
Unique Scales will accept a 25% deposit to place an animal on hold. That deposit is non-refundable.
PAYMENT PLANS
Unique Scales will do payment plans on orders totaling $1000 or more. To start the payment plan process, we require a minimum of 25% of the total price due as a down payment. After receiving the 25% down payment, we mark the animal(s) on hold, and you will continue to make payments until it’s paid in full. You pay as agreed until the animal is paid in full at which time we arrange shipping. We will never under any circumstances ship an animal out before it is paid in full. The payment plan duration is adjustable as every situation is unique. Please note, when doing a payment plan there will be NO REFUNDS ON ANY MONEY COLLECTED THROUGHOUT THE PAYMENT PLAN process (even above the initial 25% deposit) if you are unable to complete your payment plan. We will gladly extend you store credit toward another animal we have for sale or future offspring.
LIVE ARRIVAL
Unique Scales guarantees all specimens to arrive alive and healthy if insurance is purchased through SYR at the BUYERS expense. All guarantees are provided that orders are shipped to an airport or FedEx hub to be picked up promptly on arrival (within 4 hours of being available at the FedEx hub). LIVE ARRIVAL IS NULL AND VOID IF BUYER PROVIDES AN INCORRECT SHIPPING ADDRESS, FEDEX LOSES, DAMAGES, OR SIGNIFICANTLY DELAYS YOUR PACKAGE MORE THAN 24 HOURS. If you elected to have your shipment insured, you will be fully reimbursed in the event of a DOA shipment. We do not ship animals ship door-to-door. Shipping conditions as stated per SYR temperature guidelines. We strive to ensure your shipment arrives healthy and safely. We use Ship Your Reptiles and will on ship on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Our method of shipment is to drop ship to a FedEx hub near you. This ensures your ball python will not be riding around in a FedEx truck all day in 20F or 95F weather. Shipping as weather permits according to SYR guidelines. Shipping rates are between $60-$100.
ANIMAL ATTRIBUTES/GENETICS
All specimens will be properly sexed. Buyer must verify animal(s) to be properly sexed within 48 hours of delivery. We will only address an issue with an incorrectly sexed animal if it’s brought to our attention within 24 hours of delivery. After 48 hours all sales are final as it’s the buyer’s responsibility to confirm the sex of the animal(s) they have purchased. We will not accept “pet store’s, or friends” opinion on sexing your new arrival. You must provide a sworn notarized veterinary statement who specialized in reptiles as proof of an incorrectly sexed animal.
Genetics are identified to the best of our ability with no attempt to mislead anyone. In rare cases an animal may not always prove out as identified. We use clutch mates and previous clutches to help ID animals, and also refer with other breeders if a gene is in question. If the incorrect animal was shipped to you in error, the claim period is 4 hours from signing for the package as time stamped by FedEx tracking. The arrival weight of your animal will be within 20% of the advertised weight on MorphMarket. Seller is NOT responsible for animal temperament.
