The word Kalogenic comes from the Greek adjective 'kalos' meaning 'beautiful' as well as the suffix 'genic' meaning to generate or referring to genes. As such, the 'Kalogenic' in Kalogenic Reptiles can be translated as "To Create Beauty" or "Beautiful Genetics".
I am a smaller-scale breeder who pursues the concept of quality over quantity and strives to hatch out the unique.
Supplying healthy quality animals to professional breeders, first-time keepers, and everyone in between.

Serious inquires only please. Questions asked that could be answered by reading the Store Policy may not be replied to. Repeat time-wasters, disrespectful customers and people who fail to pay their invoices may be blocked from future inquires. Although it is rare, inquires may be declined on a case by case basis.
No trades at this time please.
Animals are always sold/held on a first come first serve basis.
***If you know what you want and are ready to buy please provide Full Name, Email, Phone Number and which ship center you prefer to pick up at [if you know] in your inquiry message- this is the quickest way to secure an animal.***
I am happy to answer any questions along the way but please be aware animals are almost always sold on a first come first serve basis (if you spend 3 days asking questions please don't be upset if the animal you were looking at gets sold to someone else during that time).
Any unpaid outstanding invoices that are not on an agreed upon payment plan will be cancelled after 24 hours and that customer may be blocked from future inquires depending on circumstances.
-----PAYMENT METHODS AND PAYMENT PLANS-----
Accepted payment methods are listed on store profile. Please do not ask if I accept something that is not listed.
Payment Plans are available for all animals $1000 or over:

Animals that are between $1000-$1500 will require a 33% down NON-REFUNDABLE payment with the remainder to be paid off within 30 days.
Animals that are over $1500 will require a 33% down NON-REFUNDABLE payment with the remainder to be paid off within 60 days.
Payment Plans will work by paying a Non- Refundable down payment on the animal (33% of the animal’s cost) and the animal will then be held for you for 4-8 weeks. During the set time that the animal is held, you are allowed to make payments any time you want to pay off the remainder. The sooner you fully pay off the animal, the sooner shipping arrangements can be made. If your payment plan runs out of time before you have fully paid for the animal, I will contact you informing you of what you still owe. If 24 hours after I alert you, I see that you still have yet to pay off the animal, I will resend you any payments that you have made during the time that the animal was on hold (EXCEPT the Non- Refundable down payment).
-----SHIPPING-----
Shipping is a flat rate that can be found on individual ads. Shipping price is free for local pickups in Connecticut. Shipping will be conducted through ShipYourReptiles (SYR). I will only ship to the Contiguous United States (LOWER 48). Shipping is FREE delivery to your closest approved Fedex Ship Center for pickup- inquires that are only asking for a shipping quote may get declined.
Snakes will only be shipped if the temperatures for the origin hub, transfer hub and destination are between 45 and 95 degrees. Snakes purchased outside of these guidelines will be held until weather is appropriate and a ship date has been decided.
-----SHIPPING AND LIVE ARRIVAL-----
ANIMALS WILL ONLY BE SHIPPED TO FEDEX SHIP CENTERS FOR PICKUP. NO RESIENTIAL DELIVERIES AT THIS TIME FOR THE ANIMAL'S SAFETY**
Shipping to a Fedex hub for pickup is usually the only way I will ship and is ALWAYS THE SAFEST OPTION for the animal. I can look up your closest hub that handles live animals, just ask!!
ALL animals being shipped will come with a live arrival guarantee as long as they are picked up and opened within 6 hours of being available for pickup (If your animal is available for pickup at the hub at 9am it needs to be picked up by or before 3pm for the live arrival guarantee to be valid).
-----HEALTH GUARANTEE-----
ALL animals being sold come from a clean, non-smoking facility and are housed in ideal conditions. All animals sold by me have eaten AT LEAST 3 times and are 100% healthy and sickness free (A quarantine period is STILL ALWAYS strongly recommended for new arrivals, no matter whom you bought them from. Keep ALL new arrivals SEPARATE from your general collection and monitor them as IF they were sick for at LEAST 3 months). A two week (14 day) health guarantee is provided with all animals. If for some reason the animal dies within those first 2 weeks of being in your care, you must send me pictures of the dead animal, a detailed description of how it was being housed and cared for, and pictures of how it was being housed and cared for. If I see that you provided both, flawless care, and a quarantine procedure, you will be fully refunded for the animal. If I see that you provided inadequate care and/or a poor or non-existent quarantine procedure, the Health Guarantee for the animal will be immediately null and void and you will NOT receive a refund for the animal.
-----GENETICS GUARANTEE-----
Recessives, 100% Hets and basic common combos are always guaranteed. With certain uncommon combos and genes that are difficult to identify mistakes on IDing may be made as this is a guessing game a lot of the time. I will note in the description when I am not 100% sure about the combo and will let you know my best guess and other possibilities. All shipped animals will come with a physical birth certificate. I am not a professional photographer but I always try to represent my animals as accurately as I know how in my pictures. Additional pictures may be provided among request to serious buyers. Please research the genetics that you are interested in and understand what you are buying.
-----SEX GUARANTEE-----
Although I am confident in my ability to sex these animals and label them accurately I recommend you to double check the sexes of the animals purchased for yourself and contact me if there are any concerns.
-----WEIGHT-----
The animal you receive is likely to be larger than what the advertisement states based on factors such as when the animal was last formally weighted or when the ad was last updated. If an accurate up to date weight is important to you please ask.
-----TEMPERAMENT-----
Temperament is NEVER guaranteed. Please understand that these are LIVING REPTILES that can and will hiss, strike and bite when they feel it is necessary. Even an animal that was completely calm for the breeder may feel nervous and defensive in a new environment. If temperament is a concern for you, please ask about the specific animal and I will do my best to let you know about it's personality- every animal is a little different. No refunds or returns will be offered because a snake hissed at you- these are living reptiles not toys or accessories.
-----MORPH/COLORATION-----
There is no such thing as a ball python that looks exactly the same as a hatchling as it does an adult. Depending on the morph and combo these animals can go through a very minimal color/hue change as it grows and ages or it can go through a pretty drastic change. This is very common knowledge to almost all enthusiasts but it may come as a surprise to new keepers. Please do your research on the animals and morphs you are interested in and do not necessarily expect an animal who's ad is several months old to look exactly as it's hatchling picture. I am happy to send additional up to date pictures to serious buyers. [Recommend viewing pictures on a desktop as certain cell phone display settings can oversaturate images especially in certain combos such as Banana morphs]
-----RETURNS-----
There will be no returns or refunds on any animals unless there is a critical error on my end such as sending the wrong snake or sexing the animal incorrectly.
