Here at Conservation Herpetoculture, we are passionate about reptile conservation, reptile welfare, and reptile medicine.
Owned and operated by veterinarian Zach Whitman, we produce the highest quality reptiles available, and use the proceeds to enact meaningful herpetological conservation and research.
At least 10% of every sale (Often more!) is donated directly towards herpetological conservation, veterinary research, and reptile rescue and rehabilitation.
We guarantee that every animal sold is honestly represented, accurately sexed, free of parasites, and feeding as advertised. You are buying the exact animal pictured, directly from a veterinarian with decades of experience keeping and reproducing reptiles. Our breeders are carefully selected from some of the best bloodlines in the country. Every new animal entering the facility goes through a strict quarantine, and we have never had mites, GI parasites, or respiratory infections enter our main collection. You will not find cleaner animals on the market. We guarantee health for 30 days. Please report any problems as soon as possible. We take great pride in our animals, as well as our customer service, and we welcome all husbandry or health related questions.
We guarantee that every animal produced here will always have a home, and will always accept back any animal that we produce. If you can no longer keep an animal, and cannot find it an acceptable new home, please DO NOT RELEASE it, euthanize it, or neglect it. Contact us!
Shipping:
Shipping is available anywhere in the lower 48. Live orders go out Monday – Wednesday (For delivery Tues – Thurs). Live animals are properly packaged, in insulated boxes, with appropriate heat packs as needed. Live arrival is guaranteed as long as someone is home to accept the package. Alternatively the package can be held at the nearest Fedex location for pick up within one hour of arrival. We can ship when temperatures along the route are between 34 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit. We reserve the right to delay shipment due to extreme weather at our discretion, and will hold prepaid animals until the weather is acceptable for shipping safely. Please report any shipping related problems immediately.
We will contact you within 24 hours of shipping out your animals. We must hear back from you the day before shipping live animals, to confirm that you are expecting the shipment, and will be present for delivery. If we do not here back from you, we will not ship your order! Both a phone number and email address are required from anyone receiving live shipments.
Terms:
Our prices are both fare and firm. Given the charitable nature of our business, we do not negotiate on prices. If you are looking for the best, you have found the right place. Discounts for multiple animals and repeat customers may be considered at our discretion. Some trades may be considered. Please inquire.
We do not keep waiting lists or take deposits for animals that have not been produced. We do keep email notification lists, so let us know if you would like to hear from us before animals are even offered publicly. Animals can be held in the short term for a 20% nonrefundable deposit. We cannot hold animals without a deposit. Payment is required in full before shipping.
It is the responsibility of the buyer to know your own local laws and regulations. We will not knowingly break the law. Do not ask. There will be no sales to minors under 18 without parental consent. We reserve the right to ask for proof of age.
