Please Note the following about weights. I get a lot of inquiries about weights. The weight of a snake literally means nothing. A 300 gram male could breed and a 1500 gram male may never breed. An 1800 gram female could give you a clutch of 6 eggs 4 years running and a 4000 gram female not give you eggs for 5 years in a row. I have been breeding ball pythons for over 20 years. Weights mean nothing. It is age you need to be concerned about. Males breed at 18 months (2nd winter) and females breed at 30 months (3rd winter). For those reasons I haven't weighed a snake in over 8 years. If you have OCD and are crazed about a snakes weight I'm probably not the breeder for you.
