Thank you for visiting Cowajunga! My name is Aubrey Hood. I am the sole owner & operator of Cowajunga, LLC. I am a bioactive keeper & breeder of Crested Geckos. I specialize in high-end reds & super Dalmatians, but I also tend to have yellows, lavenders, & geckos of varying quality from pets to breeders! I promote keeping & breeding in bioactive environments. The health & "happiness" of my animals is my top priority! All of my adults are housed individually in bioactive 18x18x24" vivariums and are provided Arcadia T5 7% UVB light. I feed a mixed diet of Pangea, Repashy, Big Fat Gecko, & Dubia roaches. By purchasing from Cowajunga, LLC, you are agreeing to the terms & conditions listed below.
COLOR: The photos posted of available geckos best represent their true colors in their “fired-up” state. This is when their colors are the brightest & boldest. The gecko will not look this way at all times. Hues may also vary between different computer & phone screens.
PAYMENT PLANS: payment plans are accepted with a 25% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit on geckos that exceed a two-hundred-dollar value. A gecko will not be held without this deposit. The remaining balance must be fulfilled within 30 days from the day the deposit is sent/received. If payment is not fulfilled within 30 days, the sale will be void & the deposit will not be returned. Shipping arrangements will be made after the full balance is received.
SHIPPING: LIVE ARRIVAL IS ONLY GUARANTEED FOR HUB PICK-UP. It is the customer’s responsibility to contact me after placing an order to set-up a suitable shipping date. The customer is responsible for all shipping fees. I only ship Priority Overnight when weather permits (Tuesday & Wednesday evenings for Wednesday & Thursday morning arrival). Geckos are to be picked up at a hub unless the hub is more than 45 minutes from your home. If the commute to your closest hub exceeds 45 minutes, the choice is yours. If geckos are sent to your home, you MUST be home to receive them immediately, & live-arrival is not guaranteed. For live-arrival guarantee, you must pick-up the gecko from the hub within one hour of it being available for pick-up as stated by FedEx notification AND send an unboxing video of the gecko within one hour after picking up the gecko. If these two parameters are not met, any refunds are void. A gecko may drop his or her tail before, during, or after shipping, for which I am not responsible. I am not responsible for any issues that arise after the gecko arrives because I cannot be held liable for husbandry mistakes or any other accidents/incidents that occur after the animal leaves my hands. All sales are final with the exception of a DOA (dead on arrival). The exception of a DOA does not apply to packages that have been delayed in transit or international shipments. We are not responsible for delays. The responsibility of a delay falls onto the carrier service.
SEXING: Sex cannot be guaranteed. However, I loupe every gecko with 30X & 60X loupes to formulate my best opinion of evaluation.
BIOACTIVE TERRARIUMS: After a terrarium leaves my hands, I am not responsible for its health (plants dying, etc). However, I am more than happy to help & guide you along the way, but it is your responsibility to care for your vivarium. I am also not responsible for any health issues or death your animal experiences while living in my terrariums. My terrariums are created with the highest quality materials including safe plant species for your reptile. If animal husbandry is incorrect, reptiles of various species have been known to purposefully ingest substrate, which could cause impaction. As an extra safety precaution, I recommend feeding live insects outside of the enclosure to prevent accidental substrate ingestion from free-roaming insects that may be unintentionally dropped during tong-feeding. Feed live-prey items inside your enclosure at your own risk.
