As a goal of ours, we will always strive to bring forth the best quality animals that we can provide! Above all else, these animals are our own personal pets and they all get treated as such. We came about breeding by accident and since then have been fascinated by it. This is an amazing industry to be apart of and it is very heartwarming and exciting to be working with the animals that we are so passionate about. We hope that you will all continue to join us throughout our growth as a company, and share in our collection of animals that we love dearly. One of our strongest points is to remain as active with our fans and followers as much as possible.
Store Policy
Customer Service:
All animals sold by Designer Exotics are captive born and bred by us, unless otherwise stated. We strive to produce the highest quality animals from the best bloodlines available. All animals will be feeding before they are shipped. We take pride in being able to offer you some of the best snakes around.
Payment:
We accept PayPal, and credit. All PayPal transactions will be subject to an additional 3% PayPal handling fee. Money Orders, cashier’s checks, and personal checks will be held for 10 business days to ensure funds are released. Cash will only be accepted when sales are in person.
Payment Plans:
Payment plans will be made available on a case-by-case basis on purchases of $300 or more. Payment plans will generally be between 30, 60, and 90 days in duration depending on the amount of the purchase. To hold an animal, Designer Exotics requires a 25% non-refundable deposit. After the minimum 25% deposit is received the animal/s will be taken off the market and held for the customer. Animals will be fed and maintained as usual with no extra charge to the customer. If payment cannot be made in full, there will be no refunds.
Health Guarantee:
We offer a 48 hour health guarantee on our reptiles. If we do not hear from you within 48 hours of the receipt of your animal(s), we will assume that you are completely satisfied with your purchase and consider our transaction complete. We will send a follow up email when the 48 hours is completed.
Temperament/Color Guarantee:
Designer Exotics makes no guarantees as to temperament of any animal we sell. As such, upon receiving full payment, the customer is deemed to have assumed the risk of any danger posed from actions, including but not limited to, bites, illness, scratches, or lacerations caused by the animal.
Depending on factors such as environment, stress and age, the color and/or intensity of the color on carpet and blood pythons may change. With this in mind, the guarantee does not apply to color.
Genetic Guarantee:
Every heterozygous (het) gene carrier produced here at Designer Exotics is immediately photographed and assigned a unique ID code. Your invoice will come with a photographed certificate detailing the genetics of any heterozygous animals you purchase. We have photo archives of every het we have ever produced or sold. Our guarantee is for the life of the animal even if you decide to sell it.
Shipping:
Shipping will be through Ship Your Reptiles at the expense of the customer unless otherwise stated.
We are not responsible for delays or refusal of delivery by common carriers. That said, picking up at a FedEx customer center is preferred.
Animals will only be shipped Monday through Wednesday.
Live Arrival Guarantee:
We offer a live arrival guarantee when:
Shipping date is agreed upon in advance
Temperatures are between 40-85 degrees
Someone is available to sign for the package upon delivery or is held for pick up at FedEx customer center
DOA - DEAD ON ARRIVAL:
In the unlikely event that an animal is DOA, pictures must be taken and we may ask that the animal be shipped back with cold packs within 24 hours. Shipping cost to you will be reimbursed and animal refunds will be on per case basis. If we have not heard from you in 4 hours we will consider the transaction complete. If the animal dies in transit, Designer Exotics will replace the animal with an equivalent animal, if possible, or issue credit for the full amount of the purchase which can be used towards the purchase of any animal not including shipping.
