I am a one woman operation in the desert. I work with just a handful of my favorite species which all happen to be arboreal reptiles. I have a lifelong passion for reptiles and wildlife which has lead me to obtain a degree in wildlife science and spend many years doing field research, lab work and even some time working at a zoo.

TERMS OF SERVICE
Violation of any of the following terms will result in cancellation of our sales agreement. I reserve the right to refuse sale to any person without explanation.
*ADDITIONAL/PARENT PHOTOS*
I understand that due to the nature of ontogenetic color changes in the species that I work with, babies often look nothing like what they will as an adult and I want you to have the best understanding possible of what an individuals genetic potential is. Due to this, all babies are labeled with parentage information on their photo and I have reference photos of all of my adult and breeding animals labeled by name.

Additionally, I do my absolute best to take uniform photos under consistent conditions. Unless a photo is outdated by more than a month, please do not inquire for additional photos or videos. These geckos change very slowly and I am just one person who also has a full life outside of this amazing hobby. In order to fully enjoy my reptiles, I spend as little time stressing them as possible so that I can simply observe them at their most relaxed. Photos taken by me are not to be used without my written permission. Photos taken by me may never be used by you to sell a gecko that you have purchased from me. Once you have purchased a gecko from me, you will not attempt to resell that gecko until it is in your physical possession.
*PAYMENTS AND PAYMENT PLANS*
All payments will be made using the square invoicing system. Long-term payment plans are generally not accepted when weather is conducive to shipping (highs below 85, lows above 40 degrees Fahrenheit). In some instances and at my discretion, payment plan may be agreed upon with a 20% nonrefundable deposit and full payment made within 6 weeks. Such terms must be negotiated prior to purchase. A gecko is not held without this deposit. The remainder of the balance must be received within 6 weeks of the initial deposit, and before shipping arrangements will be made. It is not my responsibility to remind a buyer of their due date. If a buyer fails to keep making payments or fails to finish the payment plan on time (6 weeks from the date of the first issue square invoice), it is at my discretion whether I will apply the payments made to another gecko or issue a refund of payments made less the initial 20% deposit. If an animal is paid for and the buyer stops communicating before shipping arrangements are made, I will hold their animals for 8 weeks from the date they were paid for. Once that 8 weeks has past, an animal is considered abandoned, and no refunds will be offered.
*SALES TAX*
New Mexico sales tax is 8.1875%. Buyers are legally responsible for this even for online sales.
*CONTINENTAL US SHIPPING*
The price of Fedex Priority Overnight shipping within the continental US is included in my pricing.
COVID update- Due to exponentially more delays on Monday shipments, I can no longer ship Mondays. Additionally, until Fedex reinstates their guaranteed 10:30am delivery for priority overnight packages, I will no longer be shipping to homes, only hubs. This is for the safety of the animals, as it is simply not worth risking their well being for the sake of our convenience. Thank you for understanding.
I will only ship geckos once they have reached 6 weeks of age, and I feel they are established and eating well. I will only ship between Monday and Wednesday, when temps at my location, the hub that they are routed through (usually Memphis or Indianapolis) and the destination are all between 40-85 degrees fahrenheit. If sent out for home delivery, you must be home to receive your geckos. Boxes left on porches can heat up in the sun and it is dangerous for the babies inside. If at all possible, I prefer to use the “hold at hub” option via fedex, this will ensure that the gecko is held safely inside at your nearest FedEx Ship Center instead of being put on a potentially hot truck. This is for the animals safety.
I guarantee live arrival so long as these parameters are met and the package is not delayed. If you would like to purchase insurance in case a gecko is delayed, that is an additional $2.50/$100 of insurance coverage. This insurance is only valid if the package is delayed by fedex. I am not responsible for carrier delays or any other delivery issues, including DOA due to carrier delays, however I will work with you to keep you informed and help locate any "MIA" shipments.
*INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING*
I will export animals from the United States to other countries under the following conditions:
I will ship to the US-based export entity of a buyer's choice, but is the buyer's responsibility to select and confirm an export service, manage the necessary export paperwork, and facilitate logistics.
Once the animal is received by the buyer's US-based chosen export-import entity, my live arrival guarantee and health guarantee expire.
I assume no liability for the export-import entity's care of the animal after it has been received on their behalf. Arrangements for transportation, receipt and any live arrival guarantee must be made between the buyer and export-import entity.
*SEXING*
I will check with a loupe for pores for anyone interested, however I do not guarantee sex on any leachianus under 50 grams, or chahoua under 25 grams. I am happy to send a clear photo of the vent area for you to make your own assessment. Sex is NOT guaranteed for any gecko under these weights regardless of how the sex is described in the listing. If the animal is sold as having "no pores visible" and there is a delay in shipping due to weather or payment plan, if the animal shows pores at delivery time, there is no refund and no credit will be offered. Gecko weights are rounded to the nearest whole number.
*USA GUARANTEES/REFUND POLICY*
If the buyer changes their mind on a sale after sending a payment, I reserve the right to keep a 20% non-refundable portion of their selected animals purchase price.
If a buyer receives an animal and feels that they are entitled to a full or partial refund, I will gladly discuss any concerns within 2 hours of the animal being signed for according to the Fedex time stamp. For this refund policy to be valid, the following conditions must be met:
The receiver must have picked up the animal at the Fedex hub within 2 hours of the gecko being marked “available for pickup” via the Fedex tracking system or the buyer must be onsite at the address provided for home delivery to receive the package directly from the shipping carrier.
The package cannot have been left exposed or outside for any length of time.
It is the buyers responsibility to inspect an animal upon receipt. If the buyer has any concerns, they must have notified me within two hours upon receipt as time stamped by Fedex. If an animal looks ill or injured, I may require the buyer to take the animal to an ARAV qualified veterinarian at the buyers expense before a refund or replacement will be issued at my discretion. If your gecko becomes ill within 48 hours of arrival, please notify me immediately. You may be asked to provide information about your husbandry practices. If a determination is made that a gecko is covered by our health guarantee, the gecko may either be returned for a replacement animal of similar value if one is available, or a credit toward a future purchase. All related shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility.
The buyer must follow all of my instructions for packing reptiles appropriately and only ship during appropriate weather if a return is deemed necessary.
This guarantee does not cover damage or injuries incurred once the box has been delivered including, but not limited to: dehydration, burns, hypothermia, drowning, or choking. This guarantee does not cover tail loss.

Since international shipments require extended delivery time, are exposed to a myriad of conditions outside of my control and may make many stops before arriving at the buyer, I can not offer any further guarantees or refunds on international sales.
*DISCOUNTS*
Occasionally when space is getting tight I will offer discounts on available geckos, for shipping within a stated date range. Please do not inquire about discounts outside of these offers unless you are interested in purchasing a group of 3 or more geckos without a payment plan and there is an appropriate window for shipping within 10 days of inquiry.
