About
Hi everyone! We are Burning Ember Reptiles, founded, owned, and operated by Christopher and Elizabeth Nash (myself). We have a bit of a variety, but we primarily focus on corn snakes and hognoses.
The passion started with me. I’ve always had a love for reptiles and got my first snake my junior year of high school. That snake was a Miami corn snake that I named Ember. Ember has remained a very important and loved member of our collection. He even sparked the idea of our company name and logo!
Christopher was a little slower to the game. We met in early 2021, right around the Arctic Blast of Texas. He wasn’t too sure about all my snakes, but jumped in head first once he realized how crazy and passionate I was about it. Not long after that, he built me a whole building to keep and grow my collection in, and grow it has! We have a foundation collection for our business that we are both incredibly proud of.
Each year brings more exciting projects and adventures. We plan to continue to grow, develop, learn, and expand throughout the years. This is truly our passion and we couldn’t think of anything else we would rather be doing. We’re so excited to make this journey with our friends, customers, colleagues, and supporters. We are so grateful for the opportunities and friendships this venture has opened up for us, and we appreciate every little bit of support we have received, are receiving, and will receive. Store Policy
Thank you for choosing Burning Ember Reptiles (formerly Pinder Reptiles)! We are a growing business and strive to provide our customers with healthy animals, easy transactions, and polite communication! Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
GUARANTEES
We guarantee that all animals are feeding as specified at the time of sale.
We guarantee healthy animals with no defects, kinks, or other major health issues.
We guarantee genetics to be stated to the best of our ability. Known hets are guaranteed correct.
We encourage you to double check the sex, as well as overall general health of the animal upon arrival. Please notify us within 24 hours of receiving the animal if anything appears to be incorrect, or if there are any other problems that are suspected. After 24 hours of receiving the animal, we assume no further liabilities.
PICTURES
We do our best to provide pictures that accurately represent the appearance of the animal available.
Any noted flaws or defects of the animal will be pictured.
Pictures are up to date and current with the condition, size, and live appearance of the animal.
We would be happy to provide however many additional photos you would like, after any form of deposit or payment is received.
PAYMENT
We accept payment through Venmo, CashApp, and Zelle. Buyer is responsible for any taxes.
Payment plans are available for purchases totaling $500 and up, before shipping. We require a 25% deposit, with the remainder due within 30 days. All deposits and payments are non-refundable. Failure to complete the payment within the 30 days will result in a forfeit of any and all money put towards that purchase.
Payment is due in full before shipping or pickup of animal.
10% discount for all military and first responders.*
*Excludes some animals, (i.e. consignment animals). Not applicable for auction animals.
SHIPPING
We ship with Reptiles2You or ShipYourReptiles through FedEx overnight on Tuesdays or Wednesdays.
Shipping is $80, unless otherwise specified.
Shipment does not take place until animal and shipping costs are paid in full.
At this time, we ONLY ship to FedEx hubs to be held for pickup.
You will be provided with a tracking number for your animal(s) as soon as the shipping label is created.
