Terms & Conditions:
The words we, us, our, and Everything Scales mentioned below refer to Everything Scales LLC.
Everything Scales is not responsible for any actions, damages, or injuries caused by any of our animals or products. This includes, but is not limited to, any cuts, scratches, bites, stings, etc.
You are responsible for knowing your federal, state, city, and local laws and how they pertain to your ownership of any animal or product purchased. All turtles and tortoises less than 4 inches are offered for scientific, educational, and exhibitional purposes only, they are not offered for use as pets. You agree to nullify Everything Scales of any liability and/or responsibility in relation to the animal(s) or product(s) purchased. Be informed of any laws which pertain to your ownership of any animal and/or product prior to making a purchase.
Unless otherwise stated, all animals available for sale are captive bred. Though our best efforts are made, the sex/gender of any animal purchased is not 100% guaranteed.
We retain the right to refuse any sales for any reason we see adequate. For example, if the customer is incapable of properly caring for an animal or is rude/unprofessional with any of our staff/employees.
All sales are final, there are no returns, refunds, or exchanges. In the event that a customer cancels their order after purchasing, they have a store credit valued at the amount of the animal(s)/product(s) purchased that is valid for a period of 2 weeks after the order cancellation date. Any PayPal and/or transaction fees charged at the time of purchase are not eligible for credit.
In rare instances, we may issue the customer a refund or exchange if we believe that doing so is adequate in the situation that is present. The possibility of a refund/exchange, as well as the action we see best suitable for the situation will be discussed with the customer.
In the event that the customer would like to reserve an animal, a non-refundable reservation fee must be placed. A payment method/plan will then be setup pertaining to the value of the animal(s) reserved. The animal(s) will then be held for the period of time agreed on until fully paid for.
Shipping:
We ship all animals through FedEx Priority Overnight Shipping. All live shipments are to be shipped on Monday and/or Wednesday. Customer will receive a tracking number once their shipping label is created. No animals or products are to be shipped out until full payment is confirmed.
Live Arrival Guarantee:
Every purchase comes with a 100% live arrival guarantee. In order to enforce our live arrival guarantee, we recommend customers purchase insurance for any live animal shipment. In the event of a DOA, it must be reported within 1 hour of package arrival. The customer MUST send clear and visible pictures/videos to [email protected] in order to be refunded with the value of the animal(s) purchased. Shipping will not be refunded.
Animals and/or products cannot be refunded if the Live Arrival Guarantee was voided or nullified under the terms and conditions stated below:
Live Arrival Guarantee Will be Nullified If:
1. Customer requests that order is to be shipped out on any day other than Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday, or when temperatures fall below 38°F or above 90°F anywhere along the shipping route.
2. There is an issue with your shipment and a claim is not made within one hour of shipment arrival.
3. Customer denies adding insurance to their shipment or goes against any of our recommendations.
4. Shipment is lost, delayed, or forwarded to another address.
