About
We are keepers and breeders of several species of pythons, boas, colubrids, and geckos. Ryan Fisher studied zoology at Southern Illinois University Carbondale and Dr. Kelsey Fisher DVM is a veterinarian.
Store Policy
Making a purchase binds you to have fully read, understand, comply, and agree to ALL terms and conditions listed. Failure on the customer’s part to fully read all terms and conditions before making a purchase does not make them exempt from these terms and conditions.
We believe in providing our customers with nothing but high quality animals. All of our animals are captive bred by us unless otherwise noted. All animals offered for sale are healthy, eating, and guaranteed to be correctly sexed. All geckos will be sold unsexed unless otherwise specified. We will not knowingly violate any laws, state or federal, when shipping or selling animals. Please know your own local laws. We also reserve the right to refuse sales for any reason.
All sales must be to individuals aged 18 years or older. Exception made for in person shows in which the parent/guardian is present and gives permission at the time of sale.
Payment
We accept cash (in person only), Square, and all major credit cards.
Holding
We are more than willing to hold an animal or group of animals priced $750 or more with a 20% non-refundable down payment. Full payment will be required before the animal is shipped or at the time of pick-up and must be received within 14 days. Failure to pay off the animal within 14 days will result in a notification and the animal/group becoming available again.
We will NOT hold an animal or group of animals for any amount of time without a down payment. Animals or a group of animals priced under $750 cannot be held with a down payment but must be paid in full.
Payment Plans
We are willing to accept payment plans on any animal or group of animals priced $1000 or more. If we have agreed to a payment plan, a 20% non-refundable down payment is required. Payment plans will be organized on a case by case basis but the animal/group must be paid off within 30 days. Any payments made are non-refundable. Failure to pay off the animal/group within 30 days will result in a notification and the animal/group becoming available again. If unforeseen circumstances arise, payments can be transferred to another animal with notification. Transferred payments will be honored for no more than 90 days. After 90 days these funds will be considered non-transferable and non-refundable.
Shipping
Overnight shipping is done via FedEx through Ship Your Reptiles. Currently, shipping is only being done to your local hold for pickup FedEx location and on Tuesday or Wednesday ship days. We will not ship if the shipment cannot be guaranteed on time and live arrival. All shipments are fully insured. The safety of our animals is our number one priority.
Animals held at the hub must be picked up in a timely manner or the health guarantee is null and void.
Health Guarantee
We guarantee the health of our animals for 15 days after their arrival. Animals must be picked up from the hub in a timely manner or someone must be home to receive packages sent to personal addresses in order to receive the health guarantee. All customers are expected to have basic knowledge of care for any species they are purchasing. We are more than willing to answer any questions and to provide care sheets to interested parties. Should a problem arise within 15 days we must be contacted immediately. In the unlikely event of a loss, an equal exchange or store credit will be given. No refunds of any kind will be issued. Sufficient photographic evidence must be provided if an animal is deceased before exchange or credit will be granted.
While we guarantee that animals are eating regularly for us, shipping and shows can be very stressful and can cause an animal to go off of feed. Ball pythons in particular may not eat right away. Failure of an animal to eat is not a valid reason for replacement or credit to be issued. If you have difficulty getting your new animal to eat, please contact us and we will help you in any way that we can. We advocate not handling new animals for a least one week in order to let them adjust to their new environment. Geckos can be fed during this time. However, refrain from feeding snakes until at least a few days in their new home.
Trades
We will consider trades, for both partial and full, value of our animals. Due to our limited space, we have a very specific list of animals we would consider for trades. Please inquire for the list if interested. For trades, our animals will not be shipped until we have received the animal(s) and payment (if applicable). Animals we receive must be in good health, properly sexed, and as described.
