About
FRINGEMORPHS was started by Chris and Thor; two brothers that have shared an obsession with reptiles since they were kids.
Growing up in the 90’s we shared our bedrooms with monitor lizards, iguanas, bearded dragons and snakes. Our favorite place was a pet store down the hill called Bird World. One time, Chris purchased a large aquarium there and tried to carry it all the way home on his rollerblades. Another time, Thor purchased a turtle there and tried to hide it from their mom so he kept it in the bathtub. Neither of these stories have a happy ending, but we were determined!
Crested Geckos first caught our eye back in 2010. We were amazed at the sheer variety shown in a species that everyone thought was extinct only 16 years prior. They were black and yellow and red; they had spots and stripes; and they had eyelashes! We decided to purchase two pairs: Mr. Banana & Mommy and Alpha & Peaches. The first few babies popped out and… well they sort of looked like their parents. It took a while to realize how much variation could come from a single breeding pair. We purchased two more pairs: Gilgamesh & Cleopatra and Peridot & Nori.
Ten years later our collection has grown considerably. It still feels like Christmas every time we get a new hatchling; never knowing exactly what’s going to come out of that egg. Some of our first hatchlings are breeders now, making babies that look completely different than their grandparents. With selective breeding and a bit of luck their potential seems limitless. Who knows what Crested Geckos will look like 10 years from now.
OUR MISSION
We find it extremely important to provide our customers with animals that have been brought up with proper care and nutrition. The animals we choose to breed have to go through stringent protocals before they are allowed to meet the rest of our breeding stock. Because we follow these practices, the quality and health of our animals shows every time someone opens a package from us!
OUR GECKOS
We started growing our Crested Gecko collection back in 2011 after realizing these geckos have one of the greatest potentials in the trade when it comes to genetic diversity. For the past few years, we’ve acquired geckos from a lot of the high-end breeders in the United States and Canada. With quality over quantity in mind, we’ve been able to produce some stellar specimens with morphs ranging from high-contrast (black & white) pinstripes and harlequins, quad-stripes, pink & cream extreme harlequins, super tigers and that is only the beginning.
OUR FACILITY
It is very important to us that our geckos are healthy and stress-free. Because of that, we house all of our male geckos separately. Hatchlings are housed with their clutch mates for the first two to three months, at which time they are separated and put into their own bins. Breeding colonies are kept small and checked frequently for any signs of bullying from cage mates. These practices ensure our geckos are free from tail nipping and other fight-related injuries.

SHIPPING POLICY
Once payment has been received you can schedule to have your Crested Gecko(s) shipped. We ship via FedEx Priority Overnight. Our shipping days are Monday-Wednesday and we will only ship your Crested Gecko when day and nighttime temperatures are between 38 and 85 degrees. If weather conditions do not permit shipping we will hold onto your Crested Gecko at no additional charge until conditions improve. In most cases your shipment will arrive by 10:30am but if you live in a remote area, delivery could be later in the day.
NOTE: Shipments must be scheduled at least 1 business day in advance.

FedEx Priority Overnight Shipping - $45 Flat Rate
All geckos, regardless of how many you order, ship for just $45 to anywhere in the Continental United States. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or internationally.
Correct Shipping Information Must Be Provided!
Always make sure to double check the shipping information you provide when ordering from us. We are not responsible if the shipment information you provided is incorrect. In addition to your address we require your email and daytime phone number. This information is required for FedEx Live Animal Shipments.
NOTE: We require confirmation that someone will be there to receive the shipment at the time of the first delivery attempt. We cannot guarantee live animal delivery when the gecko has been trucked around on the back of a hot or cold UPS truck all day!
NOTE: We do not offer net terms. All orders must be paid in full before we will ship out your order.

7-DAY HEALTH GUARANTEE

Your Crested Gecko is guaranteed to be 100% healthy for a full seven days after delivery.
- Health Issues -
If your Crested Gecko exhibits any signs of poor health within the seven day period please contact us within 24 hours so that we can try and help remedy the issue before it’s too late. Failure to do so will VOID our guarantee.
- Death Due to Improper Care and Feeding is Excluded -
Proper diet and housing is crucial when caring for a Crested Gecko. A varied diet of Repashy Crested Gecko MRP and crickets/roaches dusted with calcium is strongly recommended. We do not guarantee your Crested Gecko will eat or grow well on a poor diet. If you fail to provide your gecko with proper nutrition, housing or keeping it in the right temperature range it will VOID our guarantee. Please do your research on how to house this species before buying from us. We have no control over how the geckos will be looked after or to what diseases or parasites they might be exposed to once it leaves our facility. Because of this, we can only guarantee the gecko to be healthy for seven days.
- Gecko Tails -
It is very rare but geckos can drop their tails during shipping. They can also drop their tails when stressed and sometimes for no apparent reason at all. It is a natural occurrence and it has no effect on their health or breeding ability. We are not responsible and no compensation will be given if your gecko drops its tail during or after shipping.

LIVE ANIMAL REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE/POLICY

The health of the geckos we breed and sell are of the utmost importance to us. In the highly unlikely event that your Crested Gecko arrives in bad shape or deceased you must contact us immediately. If the gecko is still alive we can help remedy the problem before it's too late. If the gecko arrived dead we require digital pictures be sent to [email protected] within 4 hours of delivery. If we determine your claim to be valid we will help find a suitable replacement gecko for you. We do not issue refunds under any circumstances. The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges associated with replacements.
A replacement animal(s) must be requested, shipped and received by the customer within 90 days of the original ship date. Health claims exceeding 90 days will be considered null and void, no exceptions.
All Crested Gecko Purchases are Final
We do not offer refunds under any circumstances, no exceptions. Only order if you are 100% sure you have done your research and can afford to care for the gecko properly.
PAYMENT PLANS AND PLACING A GECKO ON HOLD
Two week payment plans on Crested Geckos under $300
A $25.00 non-refundable down payment gives you the ability to put any Crested Gecko on hold. We will hold your gecko for up to two weeks, at which time full payment is due. If payment is not made in full by the end of the two weeks we will put the Crested Gecko back up for sale and you will forfeit your down payment.
One month payment plans on Crested Geckos over $300
A 25% non-refundable down payment gives you the ability to put any Crested Gecko on hold. We will hold your gecko for up to one month, at which time full payment is due. If payment is not made in full within the one month period we will put the Crested Gecko back up for sale and you will forfeit your down payment.
