Store Policy
**As of January 1, 2023, an 8% sales tax will be added to every order (excluding shipping) due to Georgia Jumper Dude becoming a registered Georgia business.**
Payments accepted through PayPal, Venmo, and CashApp. All orders will be shipped through Reptiles Express who uses Fedex (only shipper who allows the spiders to be shipped legally). Shipping price will be calculated based on your zip code. Priority overnight and 2 day shipping only. I will postpone shipping in the event of extreme high/ low temperatures experienced at the destination location for the safety of the spiders. Shipping prices may increase in summer/winter due to additional precautions taken to ensure safety of spiders (heat/cold packs, insulated boxes, etc.) In the event of freezing temperatures, FedEx HUB delivery may be the only option. Shipments are done Monday-Wednesday and shipping times will be calculated from that time and not the time of purchase. Shipping is only available in the continental US. Any orders done in “peak, shipping seasons” run higher risk of delays. Seller is not responsible for delays or mis-ships. During peak shipping months such as December, only one day shipping will be available.
All spiders come with a LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEE (priority overnight shipments only) Any spiders that are delivered DOA (dead on arrival) may only receive reimbursement if pictures are taken of the spider alongside the box with the shipping label visible with a time stamp. Any spiders sent to a residential address are not eligible for reimbursement and must have the spiders sent to a FedEx Hub to be eligible for reimbursement due to special handling requirements for live animal shipments and climate controlled storage. This is not a requirement for orders but is a requirement for reimbursement of DOA spiders. Reimbursement include the cost of the spider plus shipping. Georgia Jumper Dude is not responsible for and order picked up more than 2 hours past pickup time at the FedEx hub. Signature may be required for home shipments shipped during times of severe heat/cold.
Pictures in ad are of the spider being sold and not stock photos, unless notated in description . All sales are final. Colors of spiders may vary after molts. Seller is not responsible for changes in color after molts. Sex of any given spider is based on personal experience with identifying and breeding jumping spiders and are all an educated guess. Age of all spiders sold as “wild caught” is also an educated guess based on the size of the species in question. Always refer to photos of spider found in Ad. Any ads for female spiders listed as “wild caught” do have the probability of being gravid if they are mature and have mated. Georgia Jumper Dude is not responsible for spiderlings resulting from the purchase of a “wild caught” spider. If a response is not given within 2 hours of being contacted by seller, any spiders in question will be open for adoption to the next requesting buyer. A deposit can be put down on a Spider to be held for up to 5 business days. If payment is not made by the end of the 5th business day, the deposit will be lost, and the Spider will be placed back up for sale. Any deposits taken are nonrefundable.
