Store Policy
PAYMENTS
We accept payments via Paypal or Zelle. Credit and Debit cards are no longer accepted.
Payment plans are available for purchases exceeding $1000.00. Requirements are a deposit of 25% down and the total purchase paid for in full before 60 days elapses. Purchase agreements cannot be cancelled once a deposit has been received. If the purchaser does not meet the purchase deadline or cancels this agreement they will forfeit any funds they’ve paid at the time of default. Any agreement made between me the seller and you the customer is bound by the specific terms granted by me the seller and captured in our communications. If after 30 days of purchase you have not taken custody of the animal when shipping has been offered or have not paid any owed balances you will forfeit your purchase without warning. At the end of 30 days it is the sellers prerogative to resale the animal as I see fit.

SHIPPING:
We ship within the continental U.S.
- Shipping rates vary, but should range between $35 to $100 or more depending on distance of shipment, size and weight of container.
- Buyer will pay the actual cost of shipping. I will share the quote with the buyer for transparency.
- Exception - We will not ship to locations where we are aware of laws that ban ownership of protected animals.
- We guarantee live arrival if someone is available to receive the animal upon delivery (within 1 hour) and when temperatures are above 40 and below 90.
- Since the onset of COVID 19, FedEx continues to see a high volume of packages. Because of this, we ship from Hub to Hub and no longer ship to home address.
- In the unforeseen event that an animal arrives dead, extremely rare), immediate contact with photos of the animal will be required within 1 hour of receipt of the animal. We will work with you to ensure you receive a suitable replacement or refund, based on circumstances.
- In the event an animal is lost or stolen in shipment, we work diligently with our shipper to resolve these issues. - - These situations may also prompt a suitable replacement or refund.
- We use industry standard shipping boxes purchased from our shipper.
- Heat or cold packs are used based on temperatures. In some cases, we use cryopaks, which are designed to keep the internal temperature of the box more moderate and in the mid 70's.
- CarolinaColubrids does not charge a fee for boxes, heat/cold packs or other associated shipping supplies. We absorb these costs as a business expense.

- Genetics are guaranteed to the best of our ability.
