I am a small hobbyist that recently picked up reptile breeding. This year is my first year actually producing after a lengthy time of going back and forth on it.
My love for reptiles stems from when my brother and I were younger. We always wanted to do this sort of thing as a main source of income (silly kids). In May of 2017 I bought my first gecko. It was a Male giant lavender Jungle Bandit from Ron Tremper. I absolutely love him. The reason behind the sudden purchase was because my older brother had been diagnosed with cancer. I figured the addition to our family would help him drive on as he remembered our childhood plans...sadly a month after he was diagnosed, my brother passed away of stage 4 melanoma.
My geckos are more than just pets to me. They are a way for me to remember my brother by. He is still here with me now through our hobby, and for that I am thankful.
