Hi everyone! I'm a small hobbyist located near Raleigh, NC. I currently am only working with crested geckos, but plan to start breeding ball pythons in 2023.
For people in the general area, I also sell bioactive enclosures upon request to make it super easy to adopt a new scaly friend and give them a great home.

Store Policy
PAYMENT:
Accepted through PayPal (we can send you an invoice that's payable without an account!). For payment plan info see details below.
SHIPPING:
Animals purchased during unsafe weather conditions (below 40F or above 90F) will be held here until they can safely be shipped to you. Weather delays will always be communicated. For the most part, our shipments head out every Tuesday for a Wednesday arrival, as this seems to be the safest day to ship through FedEx in order to avoid delays. If needed we can ship out on Wednesday for a Thursday arrival, but will not ship on Mondays or Thursdays for the safety of our animals.
We use Reptiles2You; shipping is listed on all profiles as up to $70, beyond that we will cover the difference within CONUS.
A note on crested geckos: the animal must reach at 3 grams to ensure they're eating and shedding well before they get to their new home. I cannot offer refunds for dropped tails (though, so far, I haven’t seen any drops in shipment).
PAYMENT PLANS:
Effective 6/14/2021, payment in full is required for any purchase less than or equal to $300.
For purchases greater than $300, a 25% nonrefundable deposit will hold the animal(s) for 30 days. Within 30 days payment must be completed, however we're always willing to work with you and are available to discuss custom payment plans in advance.
**PLEASE NOTE: All payments made are nonrefundable. We encourage buyers to be certain of their interest in an animal before contacting us, and are no longer refunding folks who simply changed their mind in the middle of their payment plan. These amazing animals deserve owners who are certain they want them and are ready to give them a great home. Any details about your knowledge of reptiles and the setup you have prepared is greatly appreciated when inquiring.**
HEALTH GUARANTEE:
So long as proof of proper care can be provided, the health of your animal is guaranteed for their first 7 days with you. If you've made it this far, follow me on IG @hecatesherps and send me the word "synchronicity." I'll get you a discount for being thorough! Hecate’s Herps reserves the right to cancel any sale if any doubt exists that the animal will be well cared for in its new home. We care for our animals deeply, and our highest duty is to ensure that every effort is made to give them a wonderful life.
MISC.:
We are always available for questions or concerns about reptile husbandry, and should you ever find that you can no longer responsibly care for an animal you purchased from us, will take them back from you no questions asked (no refunds in this case, but we want to make sure our animals are safe for their entire lives).
