About
My name is David Hochstadt and I have a passion for animals! Especially snakes! Here, at High City Reptiles, we focus our attention specifically on Ball Pythons and Green Tree Pythons. As a relatively new breeder on the scene, I established myself as High City Reptiles in 2017. The name High City Reptiles comes from my last name, Hochstadt, which is German for High City. Having an extreme passion for all animals since a young age, I always dreamed of working with animals. However I didn't know that I wanted to work specifically with snakes until I met the love of my life, Danielle Paul. We immediately bonded over our shared passion for animals. We both had years of experience keeping reptiles, amphibians, and all types of animals.
My first birthday we celebrated together, Danielle surprised me with my dream snake... a green tree python! Something happened inside me that day when I held my first chondro, something big. I knew immediately this was what I wanted to do. I needed to be breed these beautiful creatures! Slowly but surely my collection of ball pythons and chondros grew over the next few years. I wanted to get my foot in the door, but not knowing much about the business I decided to get a part time job working for Chris Nettles of C Serpents. Learning everything I could, I worked diligently caring for the snakes and helping build racks! Over the few years I worked for Chris I gained loads of experience, but eventually it had to come to an end. With the experience and a quality collection I had built up, it was time... and High City Reptiles was born! We're still a small company with big dreams. Guaranteed live on arrival. Guarantee is VOID if you fail to receive the delivery at first attempt. We do offer payment plans, a non-refundable 25% deposit to hold the snake and 60 days to complete the payment. Once payment has been completed the snake will be shipped. If you fail to complete the payment within 60 days, all payments EXCEPT for the non-refundable 25% down payment will be refunded. We accept payment via PayPal.
