Small to mid-sized, family operated, hobbyist breeder operation. We specialize in Leopard Geckos with high quality genetics. Our goal is to provide our customers with the absolute best animals that we can produce, coupled with honest and transparent business methods. Store Policy
By purchasing an animal from Impeccable Gecko you are acknowledging that you have read, understand, and agree to all of the following terms and conditions.
You must be 18 years of age or older to purchase an animal.
If you are under 18 years of age, you will need to have your guardian’s consent, and they will need to process the transaction.
We reserve the right to decline any sale, at any time, if we feel that it will not be in our animals’ best interest.
Shipping Details
Shipping arrangements will only commence once payment has been received in full for an order.
We will do everything in our power to ship animals as close to receiving payment in full as possible. Please note that at this time, we are only shipping on Tuesdays for arrival on Wednesdays. Also note that we do reserve the right to postpone shipping to the next available shipping window, if we feel that the animal's health could be negatively impacted by shipping during inclement or questionable weather. Weather conditions where we are located, at all FedEx hubs your order may come into contact with, and your location will all be considered when this determination is made.
We are currently shipping within the lower 48 US states only, however, we are not opposed to working with you to make shipping plans to other locations as we are able, and at the expense of the customer.
Shipping will always be FedEx Priority Overnight via FedEx. Impeccable Gecko is currently using Reptiles2You for our shipping needs. Please feel free to contact us with your zip code for a shipping quote at any time. Shipping costs average around $50, give or take $20 within the US. Pick-ups/meet-ups can be arranged at a public location of our choosing. Also note that we either vend or attend both NARBC shows in Tinley Park, Illinois annually, as well as both Show Me Snakes shows in Janesville, Wisconsin so we can bring animals there for pick-up as well.
All orders will be shipped in a corrugated cardboard box, lined with Styrofoam inserts. Heat packs, Phase 22 packs and cold packs will be utilized at our discretion based upon projected weather conditions.
We can ship to nearly any address that is preferred, e.g. home, work, or a friend’s house, etc… Most addresses will suffice, however the customer is then accepting that the length of shipping time may be extended due to this. The safest possible shipping method is to have the animals shipped to, and held for pick-up at the FedEx Ship Center nearest your location that “Ships Dangerous Goods.” This just means that they will hold “live shipments.” Such facilities can be found here: http://www.fedex.com/locate/
Tracking numbers will be provided to all customers via FedEx’s automatic system so that they may check the status of their package online.
It is the customer’s responsibility to be aware of all of their local laws regarding the ownership of reptiles.
Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Payment Details, Plans, and Holds
Impeccable Gecko currently prefers PayPal as a payment method. PayPal accepts all major credit cards such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, etc... You do not need to have an account to make payments using PayPal. We can also accept cash (in person). We are willing to consider other payment options as well, but cannot guarantee that we will accept other options.
Whatever payment option is utilized, all payments must be made in US currency.
We welcome payment plans on any orders over $150 (Not including shipping costs.). Payment plans/arrangements will be handled on a case by case basis, with a preference for payment plan completion within a 30-day period. All payment plans will require a minimum 25% down payment (non-refundable). If a payment plan is broken without notice and agreed upon terms, all deposits/payments made to date will be forfeited.
Any order that is cancelled after a deposit and/or payments have been received is subject to a 25% cancellation fee. If an order is cancelled after it has been paid in full, a refund will not be offered.
Animals can be put on “Hold” with a 25% deposit. This deposit is non-refundable, but is transferrable to another animal.
Deposits, Payments and/or Cancellation fees will be returned/waived if for some unforeseen reason we can no longer supply the animal.
Guarantees
We guarantee live arrival. The live arrival guarantee is only valid if the shipment is received in person by the FedEx guaranteed arrival time (typically10:30 am) and on the first delivery attempt. Someone must be available to receive your shipment in person. If someone is not available and the shipment is left unattended, all health guarantees are null and void.
Once delivered, the package is to be opened immediately. Any issues with shipping must be reported immediately by email including pictures and/or videos.
In the very unlikely event that an animal is dead on arrival, we will require an immediate email, including pictures and/or videos. We will attempt to replace the animal when possible, issue/transfer credit for a future purchase, or refund your money if a replacement animal is not available.
All animals sold by Impeccable Gecko will come with a 7 day health guarantee. The customer is responsible to contact us via phone, email, or text to let us know that you received your animal(s) and the condition of the animal(s) upon arrival. If you do not contact us within 1 hour of arrival, all health guarantees are null and void.
If your animal becomes ill or dies within 7 days, we will offer a replacement animal of similar quality and price in exchange, or offer credit for purchase of an animal in the future. Proof of illness or death is required. This health guarantee does not cover injury sustained after arrival, such as injury sustained from other pets, tail loss, burns, issues from inappropriate husbandry, etc…
Tail loss during shipment is not covered, as shipping can cause stress which may lead to tail loss. We are not responsible for delays by the carrier or other issues caused by carrier.
All animals are guaranteed to be sexed accurately if listed as Male or Female. Any animal sold as unsexed, TSM (Temperature Sexed Male), TSF (Temperature Sexed Female), and/or probable male/female cannot be guaranteed.
In the unlikely event that an animal is incorrectly sexed, animals can be returned shipped for full refund, credit for a future purchase, or replacement. Please note that the return shipping is to be paid for by the customer upfront, and that this will be reimbursed to the customer once we can verify the sexing was incorrect.
We guarantee that all animals sold as 100% het for a trait will be heterozygous for that trait.
Impeccable Gecko takes genetic honesty, integrity, and transparency very seriously. We have tried to make wise choices in our breeding stock purchases, and will continue to test our collection for unknown hets indefinitely through time. That being said, even though we have acquired our animals from as many reputable breeders as possible, they have still originated from other people’s collections. Therefore, it would be disingenuous for any breeder to claim that an animal is proven to be “non-het” without having tested said animal for themselves in our opinion. In the unlikely event that an unknown/hidden het is discovered, reparations will be handled on a case by case basis.
We cannot guarantee what any animal’s temperament will be.
We cannot guarantee that an animal will be a robust breeder or the fertility of any animal.
We cannot guarantee how a juvenile/sub-adult animal’s coloration or pattern will develop into adulthood.
