Terms of Service
From time of interest IF you do not send information for an invoice within 24 hours, or a deposit isn't made you will forfeit your right to purchase and it will move to the next in line
Payments
Cash and PayPal accepted. PayPal is our preferred method although we do have Venmo as well, please contact us so we can verify the gecko of your choosing is available, and we NEED to send an invoice as well. I will try to keep photos updated on availability.
Payment plans are available for geckos priced over $200.00. A required 25% (cost of gecko plus shipping) non refundable deposit is required to hold any gecko. All purchases are expected to be paid in full within 30 days of first deposit date, unless otherwise agreed on. If the final payment is not received you will forfeit your right to purchase, any monies collected that are not the deposit will be refunded and the reptile will go back up as available. After the final payment is made shipping can then be set up.
If wholesaling or majorly discounting geckos, I am not under any obligation to provide lineage.
Shipment
I am willing to meet up for local sales within a reasonable distance.
I am able to hold your gecko(s) until shipping weather is safe on both ends, which requires temperatures to be between 40 and 80 degrees fahrenheit. Shipping will only be done when the overnight and daytime temperature is within those listed. A heat or cool pack will be used if need be. Shipping through Reptiles2You. Zipcode needed for shipping.
Shipping will be done Monday through Wednesday, NO EXCEPTIONS. I am not responsible for carrier delays or other issues associated with the carrier. Before an animal is shipped, a confirmation that you will be able to receive your gecko and your fedex hub address will need to be obtained. As of this time we are ONLY shipping to FedEx hubs. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Guarantees
Buckeye Geckos guarantees live arrival on all geckos shipped out. Please contact me within 1 hour after pick up or delivery to confirm you have received your new gecko and all is well. If your new gecko arrives in poor condition, please contact us immediately. Please be prepared to provide photo/video evidence if this is the case. Refunds will be assessed in a case by case basis which my result in a full or partial refund, minus deposit, if the animal arrives unhealthy or DOA. *as we are doing mostly hub pick ups the geckos MUST be picked up the day it was agreed for them to arrive. We cannot be held responsible if you do not pick them up the day you agreed on*
Due to situations out of our control, Buckeye Geckos does not guarantee an animal once the animal arrives healthy at the buyers location. Once the animal is in the buyers hands, it is the responsibility of the buyer. If something happens to the gecko within 48 hours, I will replace or offer a refund, minus the deposit if one is made. I am always willing to answer all questions you may have with the care and husbandry of your new gecko.
Due to stress of shipping, geckos at times will drop their tails, tails do not regrow. I do not offer compensation for this as it does not affect the animals health or breeding ability.
Any animal that is sold as a "Male" or "Female" is guaranteed to be so. Anything sold as "unsexed" is not guaranteed.
*In situations such as buyers remorse deposit and shipping will not be refunded. This means unless we make a mistake and don't send the right gecko by complete accident and in good health (or anything covered in the rest of our ToS), there will not be a refund or deposits and shipping. In cases where deposits weren't made, only shipping won't be refunded*
You must be at least 18 years old to purchase.
We at Buckeye Geckos, may ask your prior knowledge and experience level as we do care for our geckos being sold. Buckeye Geckos has the right to refuse sales to anyone, for any reason.
