About
Born out of a lifetime passion for snakes, Seventh Level Reptiles is a small but growing family breeder located in Gilbert, South Carolina. I started Seventh Level Reptiles to share my love of snakes with my two sons and use love of reptiles to help teach them hard work and responsibility. The upside is that we are having a blast with these beautiful creatures in the process. We focus on producing high quality ball pythons for the snake lover and breeder alike and love to help people overcome their fear of snakes with education and exposure.
Store Policy
NOTE: By submitting any payment or deposit you are agreeing to be bound by the terms stated below. It is the buyer's responsibility to fully review these policies and ask any questions prior to purchase of any animal. Failure to read these policies in full does not release buyer from the provisions of these policies, unless exception is received in writing from Joel Merritt prior to any submission of payments.
* No animal is considered sold until it is paid in full. For orders $500 or more a deposit may be placed to put an animal(s) on hold (See detailed terms below). I try my best to make reasonable accommodations for buyers. Higher priced purchases may be eligible for a longer payment plan. Contact me for individual details if a payment plan is required. NOTE: All deposits to place a hold on an animal are non-refundable (as outlined below). By submitting a deposit you are agreeing to these terms.
* A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to place any animal on hold. No snake is considered sold until it is paid in full. No animal will be shipped until purchase price plus shipping costs are paid in full. Once a deposit has been paid to place an animal on hold the buyer has 30 days to complete the purchase of the snake. In the event that the snake is a hatchling the 30-day period will start upon notification to the buyer from Seventh Level Reptiles that the snake has had no less than 3 consecutive meals and has every appearance of being in good health, is thriving and is ready to go to its new home. No snake will be shipped prior to payment in full being received and cleared. For a local pickup payment in full needs to be received prior to or at the time of pick up.
If payment/pick up arrangements aren't made within the time frame stated above, the sale will be considered abandoned by the depositor and it will go back up for sale. Any and all deposits made are forfeit and no refund will be given. The only time that a deposit may be refunded is if, due to unforeseen circumstances, the snake becomes no longer available and a suitable replacement is not available. At any point after the 30 days if the snake is still available and payment is made in full by the individual that made the deposit, then the deposit will be applied to the total of the sale.
*For animals that are purchased in full, but not immediately shipped, the order can be cancelled prior to shipping. However, an amount equal to 25% of the total purchase price will be considered a non-refundable deposit and will not be refunded due to the potential loss of sale to another buyer and the ongoing care and maintenance provided. Once shipped no refunds will be given.
* I accept Venmo, Cash App, or cash for local pickups. Due to a recent incident and changes in their terms of service, we will no longer be accepting PayPay or Venmo Goods and Services payments. If you did not know their buyer protection doesn’t cover live animals anyway. If you want to use a credit card, please ask for an invoice. Buyer is responsible to cover the 3.5% merchant processing fees in addition to the total for the purchase and shipping costs.
* Shipping is available within the contiguous U.S. and is in addition to the price advertised unless specifically stated in the description. If you would like a shipping quote, please provide your zip code. Timing of shipping is determined by the weather and when it is safe to ship the animal. No animal will be shipped before payment in full has been received. We currently offer shipping to private residential and business addresses and FedEx hold facilities. We HIGHLY recommend using a FedEx hold facility. However, for direct deliveries an adult must be present at the first delivery attempt. If a snake is unable to be delivered on the first attempt, we cannot make any assurances about the condition of the animal. If shipped to a FedEx hold facility all animals should be picked up within 2 hours of delivery to the facility. Once picked up animals should be opened and checked on as soon as reasonably possible to ensure the health of the animal. Any issues must be reported immediately. Seventh Level Reptiles will assume no responsibility for harm to an animal caused by a failed delivery attempt or delayed pickup/unboxing.
About animal ID: We always try to be absolutely as accurate as possible with all IDs and do extensive research and collaborate with other experienced breeders. However, with some of these combos it may not be possible to be completely accurate as some combinations have 64-128 possible outcomes. We will always list according the best information available. If you ever have a question about the ID of something we list, please ask for the pairing information to make an informed decision.
