About
Small breeder focusing on a select number of quality morphs. Growing out breeders with a friend and work colleague, Maia Carlson--so some snakes we part with on here are from one or the other :) Anything not produced from us are snakes we've purchased locally (KC/MO); we offer them up when our breeding plans change.
Store Policy
We will reply as swiftly as possible, but please note this is just a for-fun type hobby of ours -- our primary job is teaching at Kansas State University, so our students will come first (meaning we may be replying slower during parts of semesters, when grading loads gets heavier).
Payments can be made via PayPal Friends & Family or Venmo. If paying PayPal w/ buyer protection, we ask for an additional 3% fee to cover the fees applied to my end (we will include this in the total invoice). We also take cash for those who wish to pick up their animals locally. We're located in Manhattan, KS, but visit Lawrence/KC area fairly regularly, (especially for expos!) so we can usually arrange to meet somewhere. Gas is usually way cheaper than shipping, and it's less stress for the animal, so don't hesitate to reach out to figure out if there's a good half-way point to meet up! :)
After payment(s), we can also hold animals in the event of inclement weather. It's the buyer's responsibility to be aware of their weather conditions when the animal would be in transit (we will plan in advance).
AUCTIONS
MorphMarket's default policy is buyer pays within (1) day of auction's end. Standard accepted payments apply to auctions (PayPal Friends&Family or Venmo). We will send this info when auction ends or when buyer messages first.
No payment plans are available for auctions unless the total (sans shipping) is over $300.
PAYMENT PLANS/OFFERS
While we will consider offers for purchases of multiple animals in one sale (and return buyers!), we are also open to payment plans -- our default as is follows, but we are open to discussing alternatives:
$300 and under:
Buyer puts down 50% for non-refundable deposit and pays the remainder within 2 weeks.
Over 300:
Buyer puts down 30% non-refundable deposit and pays remainder over 4 weeks (unless other arrangements are made).
Animals will not be shipped until balance(s) are paid.
SHIPPING:
Shipping is a flat rate of $80. Often times the cost to ship an animal are higher, though, so this is the best deal we can make! We ship for a flat rate, so if you're purchasing multiple animals (that all fit in the same shipping container), they will ship for $80! Message for more details if you want more than one snake.
We package and ship all animals with ShipYourReptiles overnight FedEx. If available, we always purchase insurance through them (but it's subject to availability). When things get really hot in the summer or there's inclement weather, they stop offering this add-on.
We ship on Tuesdays. We will ship on Wednesdays ONLY if Monday was a holiday (and the buyer agrees to it). Our priority is the health and safety of the animal, so we cannot make exceptions. We cannot be held liable for anything that occurs in transit. Once we drop the animal off at FedEx, it is quite literally out of our hands.
Typically, next day FedEx will arrive to hubs for pickup by 10:30AM and no later than 12:00 noon, though outliers may occur (for which we are not liable). If you're getting an animal delivered to your home address, there is no guarantee on delivery time (another reason we prefer shipping from hub to hub!).
We urge you to ship to a nearby FedEx hub to avoid snakes being on hot trucks in the morning into the early/late afternoon. Hubs are temperature controlled and safer for the animal.
WARRANTY/REFUNDS:
All animals are guaranteed for health, genes, and sex, though we are new to the hobby and some snakes may be harder to determine sex than others. We will make it clear on a particular listing if we are unsure! No animal is guaranteed for temperament.
If you have any issues (DOA, injury, mis-sex, etc), you must contact us within 1 hour of delivery/arrival to FedEx Hub/home with photographic and video evidence. Refund (sans shipping) may be given as store credit for future orders (does not include DOAs caused by extreme temps incurred from carrier delay on-truck--talk to me about purchasing insurance, though it may not be available during some seasons).
We do not offer returns or exchanges as we cannot monitor the environment to which they are sent, and don't want to risk introducing mites into our collection.
MorphMarket's Default Store Policy
specifies any terms which have not been overridden by this Seller's stated policy.
