Terms:
-Payment- We prefer payment via PayPal goods and services but can also receive payment via credit or debit card through the Square app with a small 4% transaction fee, and payments via zelle.
We do offer payment plans of up to 60 days for animals over $500. There is a 25% nonrefundable down payment required for each animal.
In the event we are unable to fill your order because of loss, death of animal while in our care, etc. Your deposit or payments can be applied to another animal we have available or you have the option for a full refund of all monies contributed.
If you as the customer decide to change your mind about an animal, the 25% down remains nonrefundable however can be applied to another animal we have advertised or offer you.
Texas residents add 8.25% sales tax
-Shipping- Due to the recent service interruptions because of Covid, we only ship to Fedex hubs for pickups. This prevents the animals from riding around on a hot or cold truck all day as some delivery drivers do not notify the homeowner of arriving packages. Additionally this eliminates the threat of stolen boxes by porch Pirates, etc.
All shipments are sent in industry-standard, Styrofoam insulated boxes with appropriate temperature regulators inside. All shipments with live animals are sent overnight
We reserve the right to make considerations for the health and well-being of the animal in regards to climate and temperature, not only in origin and destination but also at the Memphis, Tennessee, Or Fort Worth Texas shipping hubs.
We will make every effort to determine legality of destination states and refuse to knowingly or unknowingly ship animals to protected states. Because of this, we do not ship Western Hognose to Colorado or Iowa and Illinois customers must show current permit for reception of allowed numbers into that state.
-Guarantee- We offer live arrival guarantee, only. The animal you order is the exact one in the provided pictures and detailed in the description.
-Support- I render notifications via our shipping company, reptiles Express, So you as the purchaser are aware of the whereabouts of your animals at all times.
Additionally, I offer support to those requesting help with an animal, post sale. Do you have any questions, feel free to reach out and as we are able we continue to provide continued support for our customers.
Disclaimer- I am liable for the animal until an exchange is made through direct sale or to the shipping company. We are not responsible for carrier mishandling, delays, etc.
Due to the risk of contamination and strict quarantine, after the animal/animals has been Exchanged to you the buyer, your agent, or the shipping company, we are exempt from refunds, exchanges, or returns.
We are not liable for any losses to the animal or costs incurred by the animal, such as injury to the animal, you as the owner, or anyone coming in contact to the animal. Additionally we are exempt from any medical or veterinary bills, any further direct or indirect costs or liabilities, after direct exchange or remittance of the animal to the shipping company.
Any animal with a mouth can bite. We encourage you as the prospective owner to be aware of any Hognose snakes’ potential to bite, especially out of feeding-aggression. All prospective owners be aware, however, those with anemia, those with sensitivities to histamines, and immune compromised individuals be aware of the added risk.
