Store Policy
Shipping
We will not ship animals if weather is deemed unsafe for our animals' safety. During winter months when weather is below 40 animals will be shipped to your local hub for pickup as well as the summer months when temps are above 90. Shipping is done Tuesday & Wednesday via FedEx Priority Overnight rate through Reptiles2You.
Health
We guarantee sex, health, and genetics of our animals unless stated. Upon shipping arrival we ask that you check the animal over. If you have any questions or concerns please contact me ASAP. Health guarantee ends if NOT contacted within one hour after delivery/pickup. You must be home to receive shipment on first attempt or pick up from FedEx hub is another option. We can not take responsibility for animals left unattended at delivery or for shipping mishaps or shipping delays caused by fedex. You must pick up your package at the Fed Ex hub within 4 hours of it being available for pickup; even if a delay occurs, otherwise this guarantee is null and void.
Animals have their weight recorded when they are put up for sale and may not have their weight updated again. For this reason weight cannot be guaranteed to be the same as what is listed at the time of receiving the animal. If you would like to know an animal's approximate weight please reach out at any time and an updated weight will be provided.
Payment
The minimum non-refundable deposit accepted is 25% of the purchase price or $100, whichever is greater. (i.e. any purchase less than $400 has a minimum non-refundable deposit of $100). Payment of non-refundable deposit will hold any animal for a buyer for 14 days. Payment plans with the full balance due within 30 days are available on any purchase over $500. We accept PayPal or Postal Money Order. PayPal payment may be made to [email protected]. Please message me before sending payment.
Payment for animals and shipping must be made in full before the animal is shipped.
Payment Plans
We offer payment plans on animals we sell, once you start a payment plan there are no refunds. I will allow transfer of credit to a different animal that I sell, minus the deposit. If a purchaser has been notified that they are late on a payment and does not make an attempt to contact us or return contact from us for 14 days, the animal will be relisted for sale. And any other balance (minus the deposit) paid by the purchaser will be considered forfeited to Aquatic Oaks Creatures & Creations after 30 days.
Returns, Refunds & DOA’s
For customers dissatisfied with their purchase the animal must be returned to Aquatic Oak’s and arrive in good health to qualify for credit within 10 business days. Credits will only be granted after a successful 30 day quarantine of the returned animal at Aquatic Oak’s facility. Pictures of an animal that has passed will NOT be honored for credit. Animals that have passed as a result of the buyer will not be credited. All returns are in the form of credit towards another animal, less any shipping charges, NO CASH REFUNDS are given.
