Crystal Colubrids is a small-scale colubrid hatchery focused on providing excellent care for our reptiles and feeders.
Store Policy
General
-We provide customer support for the lifetime of the animal(s) transferred. Questions are always welcome.
-We guarantee the animals’ health at the time of transfer.
-We reserve the right to refuse live animal sales or transfer if the customer lives in a state where the possession of desired species is not legal or we feel the animal’s needs will not be adequately met.
-Customers are responsible for carrying out appropriate quarantine practices upon transfer.
-Customers hold full responsibility for the animals’ welfare and the safety of themselves, other animals, and other people following transfer of ownership.
-Customers are responsible for knowing local state Fish & Wildlife Service regulations regarding exotic reptile keeping.
-In the event that you can no longer care for your reptile(s), we ask that you contact us so that the reptile(s) may be returned if our current space allows. Under no circumstance are you to release your animal(s) into the wild.
Shipping
-We only ship Priority Overnight to FedEx Ship Center Hubs to be “held for pickup”. We will not ship to personal residences for the safety of our animals, unless the client has a major scheduling conflict or disability that limits their ability to travel.
-We ship to the lower 48 states via ShipYourReptiles.com and ReptilesExpress.com according to their posted standards. We do not ship internationally at present.
-We will not ship corn snakes (Pantherophis guttattus) to GA nor any non-morph corn snakes to NJ per state regulations.
-Transfer of ownership is final upon FedEx confirmation of live delivery.
-We offer a Live Arrival Guarantee when specific shipping conditions are met. For more information regarding our Guarantees, please visit our website.
Payments
-We currently accept Credit (via Square), PayPal, or cash (only in the event of local pick-up). We do not accept personal checks.
-Refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Payment Plans
-We are now offering payment plans on animals $200 and over.
-Reptiles between $200 and $400 may be held with a non-refundable 20% deposit (including shipping costs), the remainder to be paid within 30 days of the initial deposit.
-Reptiles greater than $400 may be held with a non-refundable 20% deposit (including shipping costs), the remainder to be paid within 60 days of the initial deposit.
