OBX Lizard Land is a family friendly reptile education facility, open to the public, located in Currituck, North Carolina.
We specialize quality captive bread Saharan, Ocellated, Ornate, and Moroccan Uromastyx, Yellow Tail Cribos, Baron’s Racers, False Water Cobras, Hognose, Dumeril’s boas, and a wide variety of other snakes, lizards, and tortoises.
Store Policy
Payments and Payment Plans:
- We accept payments made via PayPal, Square, or cash only.
- We do not accept trades, and prices listed are non-negotiable.
- Payment plans are available on animals $600 and up. We require a 30% non refundable, non-transferable deposit with the balance paid within 30 days.
- We do not accept returns and all sales are final.
Shipping:
- Cost of shipping is the responsibility of the buyer and will reflect in the total amount of the invoice.
- Reptiles are shipped via FedEx Priority Overnight.
- Orders placed are shipped on Tuesdays, weather permitting. We do not ship at the beginning or end of the week due to increased likelihood of delays.
- We ship weather permitting. We will not ship if daytime highs are above 95 F or below 50 F. We reserve the right to hold shipments if we feel the weather is unfavorable or unsafe for the animal.
- Orders will be shipped from hub to hub via FedEx Priority Overnight. Orders shipped directly to a hub are guaranteed live arrival. Shipment to home addresses will waive the live arrival guarantee.
- Orders must be picked up at the hub within 4 hours of delivery.
Live Arrival and Health Guarantee:
- Live arrival is guaranteed only when shipped directly to a FedEx Hub, and picked up within 4 hours of delivery. Shipments delivered to locations other than a FedEx Hub will not be covered under our live arrival guarantee.
- In the unlikely event of DOA, buyer must contact OBX Lizard Land upon receiving the animal with time stamped photos.
- Animals will arrive healthy and are guaranteed to remain healthy. Any issues regarding health must be reported within the first week of arrival with time stamped photos for a replacement or refund.
- Issues arising from improper handling, improper husbandry, incorrect diet, cohabitation, and buyers remorse are not covered under the health guarantee.
- Buyers remorse is not grounds for a return/refund.
Please note:
- We reserve the right to refuse a sale if we do not feel the inquiring party would be a good fit for the animal in question, or if we feel that it is not in the best interest of the animal.
- Due to the amount of responsibility and commitment animals require, we do not sell to any party under the age of 18.
- We do not accept returns. All sales are final.
By purchasing an animal through OBX Lizard Land, you are agreeing to the terms as stated above.
