At Odyssey Exotics, we specialize in producing high quality Crested Geckos, Gargoyle Geckos, and Leachianus. We strive to offer high end geckos to the reptile community. We currently breed crested geckos, gargoyles, and leachianus geckos. Our project for the crested geckos focuses on producing extreme harlequins, lily whites, super Dalmatians, and red base. Our project for our gargoyles focuses currently on only red stripes. And for our leachianous colony we focus on high quality island crosses.
Store Policy
SELLER’S GUARANTEES
We promise the animal to be comparable to the photos shown in the ad. We will never use photos that will create an unrealistic expectation of the animal. We will snap quick cellphone photos if asked at our discretion. Professional photos will be taken only for ads. All ads will have photos updated periodically to be the most up-to-date appearance of the animal. Animals will be in good health when sent.
*Must be 18+ to purchase. We require full payment before animal is shipped out. Deposits and made payments are NONREFUNDABLE.
LIVE ANIMAL SHIPPING & GUARANTEE
Shipping is based on location and price ranges during the time of purchase. Please make sure you provide us zip code to insure an accurate shipping quote upon purchase. Please take into considering shipping can range anywhere from $50-$76. Shipping is done through FedEx priority overnight to the shipping address provided during checkout. Shipping will only occur in safe temperatures at all stops, with the highest temperature no more than 85*F and the lowest temperature no lower than 35*F. You must contact us after placing your order to set up a suitable shipping date. If weather is not good for shipping we have the right to hold the animal until we deem the weather safe enough for the animal to ship in. Shipping occurs on Tuesdays and Wednesdays only. The seller must have all shipping addresses and info from the buyer(s) by 6pm EST Sunday the weekend before shipment, or else shipping will not occur that week. Seller will send a copy of the label to the buyer to confirm the address has been entered correctly before it is sent out.
All animals will have a live arrival guarantee and a seven day health guarantee. Shipping during unsafe weather will never occur. DOAs due to buyer negligence in picking up the animal are NOT covered. We are not responsible for carrier delays or any other delivery issues, including DOA due to carrier delays. We will work with you though to keep you inform and locate any "MIA" shipments. Tail loss or nose rubs that occur during shipping are not covered under the live arrival or health guarantees.
*We guarantee live arrival! However, should animal be DOA and you picked animal up on time from hub and their was no delay in shipping, we advise you film the unboxing of your animal so proof is shown of DOA. At that time we will give you the option on store credit or another gecko equal to value.
*YOU MUST NOTIFY US WITHIN THE FIRST HOUR OF DELIVERY TIME!* Failure to do this will result in COMPLETE VOID of our Health Guarantee policy.
PAYMENT PLANS
Payment plans are available only on orders higher than $200, and to place an animal on hold the seller must have at least 25% of the purchase price. Payment plan duration will be determined on a case by case basis and will be left to the discretion of the seller.
Payment plans that are not completed before the agreed upon due date will have a reminder sent in advance of the due date. Should the buyer fail to complete the plan, or fail to contact the seller to make arrangements, the seller has the right to reclaim the animal. Should the buyer fail to follow through on any arrangements made, the seller has the right to reclaim the animal at that point. Any payments or deposits made on an animal are NONREFUNDABLE!
*If a buyer who has paid in full for an order fails to respond to any contact attempts by the seller over the course of one month, the animal will be considered abandoned and reclaimed by the seller, and NO refund will be made!*
SHIPPING TERMS
It is the responsibility of the buyer to contact us by email ([email protected]) or direct messenger after placing an order, to determine the most appropriate day for shipping and to provide us with any additional information we may need. It is the buyer's responsibility to make sure that someone is at the shipping address on the day the package is scheduled to arrive, or is picking the animal up from the hub. We require photo confirmation of live arrival within 1 hour of package delivery or within 1 hour of hub pickup. All guarantees are void if someone is not present for the first delivery attempt or if we are not contacted within 1 hour of delivery to residence. If you are shipping to hub, animals must be picked up before or around noon. If you need to pick up later in the day, please inform the seller prior to shipping the animal.
SEXING ANIMALS
Animal sex will be labeled as accurately as possible in the ad. Sexing is only guaranteed on animals labeled specifically male or female. The seller is not responsible for change of gender in young animals labeled “possible” or “probable”. Temperature sexed young animals do not have a sex guarantee.
