OWAL Reptiles is the hobby of Matt Huck. Our focus is whatever peaks our interest in the reptile world. From trying to prove out super pinstripes, attempting to revive the sunglow ball python project, and our various unproven dinkers. We might just have the unique animal you are looking for.
Store Policy
Payments:
All sales are final except as noted herein. All animals must be paid in full before shipping will take place. I accept Cash, Credit/Debit Card through Square, Zelle, and Crypto. I only accept cash from customers that pick up in person. All deposits are non-refundable if the customer backs out of a deal.
Returns/Refunds:
Sales on animals are final except in cases of proven illness or death of the animal during shipping. I will not provide refunds over "buyer's remorse." Sellers are given every opportunity to ask all the questions they may have about any animal they inquire about. Failure to ask such questions does not constitute a valid reason to request a return/refund. Every animal has a different temperament, I cannot be responsible for the behavior of individual animals and such behaviors are not to be considered a valid reason to request a return/refund.
Deposits:
I will accept a 20% non-refundable deposit to place an animal on hold.
Payment plans:
I can discuss payment plans on animals priced $500 and up. An initial, non-refundable down payment of 20% is due. After receiving down payment, I mark the animal(s) as ‘On Hold’. Payments are made until purchase is paid in full. Upon receiving the final payment, the animal(s) will be shipped to the nearest Fedex Ship Center or your address. I typically ask payment plans be no more than 2 months. If you cannot continue with your payment plan for any reason, or if you fail to complete your payment plan in the agreed upon time, the animal(s) will be taken off hold and placed back up for sale. The 20% deposit is not refundable but any additional money paid will be refunded.
Shipping:
All my shipping is done through Ship Your Reptiles. Contiguous 48 states only. I will not ship starting the week before Thanksgiving and running through the week after New Year's. The burden on the shipping industry is excessively high during this time, increasing the chance of packages getting delayed and I will not put the lives of animals at risk. I am happy to hold animals during this time and will ship them once conditions are safe to do so.
I guarantee live arrival when using Ship Your Reptiles Temperature Guidelines and Insurance Eligibility requirements, which includes the requirement of packages being shipped to a Fedex Ship Center. I understand this may not be an option for some, which I can ship directly to a residential address, but cannot guarantee live arrival. Animals will not be shipped until the full purchase price has been received and cleared. In the unlikely event of death occurring during shipment, it must be reported within 2 hours. Deaths due to shipping will be fully refunded, but you have to provide proof of death within 24 hours.
All animals are honestly represented. Animals are guaranteed to be outwardly healthy and free of external parasites. All specimens will be properly sexed. Buyer must verify animal(s) to be properly sexed within 48 hours of delivery. While I make every effort to correctly identify combinations, with the complexity of some of my combinations I cannot guarantee genetics in animals that have more than 4 morphs unless specifically discussed.
