Brick & mortar store operating for over 25 years. We offer a full line of traditional pets and supplies, and we also boast the largest selection of reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates in central Virginia.
Our collection comes from local and regional breeders, national wholesalers, and our own breeding programs. We also resell animals surrendered by previous owners.
Store Policy
ANIMAL AVAILABILITY --- We do our best to keep our online inventory accurate, but since we operate a brick and mortar retail presence, our MorphMarket store may be 24-48 hours behind.
ACCEPTED PAYMENT METHODS --- We only accept credit/debit card payments using our secure online processing system that we also use in our retail store. We do not accept PayPal, Cash, Zelle, or any other payment methods, with the exception of cash for local pickups. We will email you a link to the secure webpage to pay. We collect Virginia sales tax at 5.3% on all animal sales.
HOLDS AND DEPOSITS --- We do not accept deposits to hold animals. We do allow online customers a three-day hold period without a payment made. If payment is not made in-full within three days, the hold is released.
SHIPPING --- Once payment is received, we will contact you to set up a shipping date that is convenient for you and safe for your animal. We only ship Mondays through Wednesdays. We do not ship Thursdays or Fridays, or for weekend delivery. Final dates are at our discretion. All animals ship via FedEx Priority Overnight. You may choose to hold at an authorized FedEx hub or a residential address. FedEx hubs are usually a little cheaper.
HEALTH GUARANTEE AND REFUNDS --- We offer a live arrival guarantee on all animals, and a 7-day health guarantee on all captive-bred snakes and lizards. In case of DOA or passing of animal, photos will be required within 24 hours of arrival/passing. Any refund given will not include shipping.
TRADES -- We do not accept trades through MorphMarket. Local customers may be able to trade animals for store credit.
OTHER INFORMATION ---
Please be aware of local laws regarding species. We will not ship to states that prohibit native species being kept as pets. For instance, Georgia, New Jersey, and West Virginia do not allow ownership of cornsnakes. Please do your research before contacting us.
Sexed animals are decided to our best ability by probing, cloacal signs, or molts, and not 100% guaranteed unless proven by breeding.
We do our best to keep information of specific animals current. Feel free to ask for recent photographs, sheds, weights, and eating habits before making your purchase.
All of our snakes are shipped with what we call Animal Action Cards, detailing the snake's history. We provide the animal's date of arrival at PAW, a birthday if known, vendor, and arrival weight. We track individual feedings, sheds, and regular weighing to make sure each animal is healthy before sale.
