Guarantees / Terms of Sale
Animal Health
- All animals are shipped out once feeding consistently and in a healthy state. This is usually at around 100 grams and after 6 consecutive feeds for juveniles.
- All animals are guaranteed to be pest and disease free, and eating defrost prey unless otherwise stated.
- Whilst all my animals are handled regularly and generally placid, temperament can change over time therefore I cannot guarantee animal temperament.
- Weights listed on adverts are estimates to be used as a guide only. If a precise weight is required please ask.
Animal attributes
- I guarantee the animal delivered will always be the one pictured on a chosen advert.
- I guarantee the sex of the snake will match the advert. Claim period is 7 days, please double check the sex of your purchase upon arrival.
- Recessive traits are always guaranteed to match those listed on the advert.
- Due to the ever increasing number of new mutations and gene combinations, even with my experience I cannot 100% guarantee incomplete dominant traits.
Payment
- Payment can be made by PayPal, bank transfer or cash if collecting in person. I cannot currently take credit card payments.
- Payment plans are offered on a case by case basis. Typically on snakes with a value greater than £300. A 25% deposit is required to reserve the animal with the remainder due over 30-60 days. Minimum deposit is £150 regardless of snake price. Animals priced under £200 must be paid in full at time of purchase.
- Full payment must be made within the agreed amount of time. Failure to pay in full will result in the animal being relisted. Payment plan instalments are non-refundable, but are transferable to another purchase.
- All deposits are non-refundable
- All payment plan payments are non refundable two months after payment plan start date. But can be transferred to a different animal.
- All sales are final.
Delivery/ Collection
- Collection in person is possible from Sheffield, UK.
- Delivery is made by DEFRA licensed animal courier. This is arranged and booked by myself on the next available run after final payment is made.
- Delivery is carried out by a separate company and I therefore cannot be liable for any delays with delivery. But will always endeavour to get your purchase to you at the first opportunity.
- Delivery charge by courier is £45 for Central England, increasing to £55 for the Southwest, Wales and Scotland.
- Personal door to door delivery available on request.
- Payment must be made in full before animal is collected, delivered or passed to any third party.
- Animals not collected within a reasonable timescale (45 days after payment completion) without prior discussion will be sent by courier on the next available courier run at buyers expense.
International export
- Worldwide shipping is available, Cites export permit applications are normally received in three weeks.
- Due to the cost of airfreight and associated expenses the recommended minimum order for worldwide shipping is £5000.
