specializing in genetic mutation of the Ball Pythons. At RFC, our goal is to innovate the next generation of Ball Pythons by producing the highest and best quality animals offered in our industry.
Our rare morphs are prized among collectors who seek responsibly bred animals. We have the
utmost respect for our beautiful creatures and so our mission is to maintain genetic integrity for the
safety and longevity of our reptiles.

We exist because of a pure fascination and passion for reptiles. Although formally established in 2013, our founder, DJ van Wyk, already had several years’ experience rearing snakes. His first clutch was from a Burmese python.
DJ has immersed himself in the world of reptile genetics and breeding. He has been mastering his craft for just over a decade. In this time, his deep understanding and natural talent have enabled him to build up Reptiles for Centuries into an established business with a firm reputation among other breeders.

Reptiles for Centuries is a private captive snake husbandry enterprise specialising in genetic morphs of Ball Pythons.
We pride ourselves on having a solid reputation for producing snakes with strong, healthy genes that yield a high return on investment (ROI) for fellow breeders and collectors. We care first and foremost about the condition of our animals and the integrity of their genes. A popular breed in both South Africa and abroad, ball pythons are known for having exquisite lines and numerous varied colour combinations. When it comes to ball pythons, most of our work centres on recessive projects, namely clown, pied and desert ghost.
We are strategically sourcing and introducing newer genes to our collection each year. These are both recessive and dominant projects. As ever, our aim is to maintain superior genetic strength, and so we are discerning about our pairings.

Store Policy
Pricing Information and Payment Terms :
We currently accept cash and EFT. Payment plans can be negotiated and must be agreed signed, in writing before the transaction can take place. In such instances, we typically require a 25% non-refundable deposit followed by the agreed-upon instalments (no longer than 60 days).
Sales &Shipping :
1. Animals are guaranteed to arrive to Buyer alive and in good health condition.
2. Seller guarantees that the animal being delivered is exactly the one represented in the ad, unless otherwise stipulated in the ad with the use of an official Representative Photo.
3. Seller guarantees the sex of the animal being delivered. Claim period is 7 days, please double check the sex of your purchase upon arrival.
4. Seller guarantees that the animal shipped will not be LESS than 20% margin of error in weight if the weight is advertised
5. If the animal is shown to be sick or injured within 24 hours upon arrival as proven by the Buyer (with photos and videos, as needed), seller is responsible for refund or replacement.
6. Seller is not responsible for animal temperament
Our Quality Guarantee :
The Ball Python industry is growing at a rapid pace, with genetics becoming more complex and more diverse. With over 12 years of experience working with Ball Pythons we have established a good understanding in identifying genetics. BUT with saying this :
1. To the best of our knowledge, we identify incomplete dominant genes, but we cannot longer guarantee all co-dom genes in our animals. In the case of uncertainty, we will rather under list the genetics of the animal and list all other possible genes in brackets. Which will imply that those genes are a possibility.
2. Recessive genetics (homozygous & heterozygous) are always fully guaranteed.
3. Correct gender is fully guaranteed.

We offer shipping throughout South Africa and uphold all the stator requirements to export globally.
