About
Treasure State Reptiles are a small reptile breeder focusing on Ball Pythons, Redtail Boas, and Rainbow Boas. Though we are new to retailing reptiles we have many years of experience in handling and keeping reptiles.
Store Policy
Acceptance of the Terms of Sale
Purchasing a reptile and/or any associated product(s) from Treasure State Reptiles, constitutes acceptance of the following Terms of Sale. At the time of your purchase, it will be commonly accepted that you have read and understood the stipulations, as laid out below.
Guarantee
Due to the nature of the products we sell, we cannot and do not guarantee the temperament of any reptiles sold, unless specified otherwise. Treasure State Reptiles will expect you to inspect your purchased reptile(s) upon receipt to verify their overall condition, gender and wellbeing. Should there be any issues with your purchase, like a hatchling that was incorrectly sexed, we expect to be notified within 24 hours of taking receipt of your order. Failing to contact us within 24 hours indicates that you are sufficiently satisfied with your purchase, after which we will consider your transaction complete.
Once a Reptile leaves our facility, we no longer have any control over the care provided to the afore mentioned reptile(s) and, therefore, cannot guarantee its wellbeing.
Here is what we at Treasure State Reptiles Guarantees:
1) Your reptile will be properly sexed.
2) The genetics of the reptile are what we say they are.
3) Your reptile will be healthy free of parasites and disease
Payment
When purchasing a product (any product) or reptile from Treasure State Reptiles, full payment is required. Payment methods accepted are cash, check, and credit card. Any payments made to Treasure State Reptiles will need to clear before any stock or reptiles are released and/or shipped.
Deposits and/or Payment Plans
Treasure State Reptiles understands that for most this is a hobby and some of these reptiles are expensive so payment plans are available. A minimum, non-refundable deposit of 25% is required for any payment plans. There are no refunds on payments made towards an animal, but you may use the money towards another animal of lesser value if you are unable to make all payments. Payment plans are offered for a maximum of 3 months (90 days). Should you wish to enter into a custom payment plan, please feel free to discuss this with us. Custom payment plans are agreed upon on a case-by-case basis and are solely at the discretion of Treasure State Reptiles. Prices for any and all reptiles purchased on payment plans, are as advertised on our website. No discounts will be offered on any reptiles purchased on a payment plan. While you are paying for your new reptile(s), it will be fed, cleaned, kept at optimal temperatures and cared for professionally, as we do with the rest of our collection. We do not charge extra for this service.
Any and all reptiles are available on a first come first serve basis. Due to the unpredictable nature of the genetics associated with breeding reptiles, we cannot accept bookings for live animals that have not hatched. Any and all reptiles produced by Treasure State Reptiles will only be considered as "sold" once a 25% non-refundable deposit is received.
Shipping - Domestic
Our animals are shipped via Fed Ex Priority overnight, Ship Your Reptiles. Shipping will be a flat rate 50.00.
We guarantee live arrival unless the shipment is delayed or mishandled by the shipping company. This guarantee is void if the package is not received and signed for on the first delivery attempt, or if held at terminal, not picked up by 10 am local time.
We strive to package our animals according to weather conditions, but cannot guarantee live arrival when high temperature is above 90 degrees, or low temperature is below 45 degrees. We may request to delay shipment until weather conditions are more suitable for shipping.
To minimize exposure to uncontrolled climate, we strongly suggest picking up the animal at the nearest Fed-Ex office rather than having it in transit for delivery.
If your animal does arrive DOA, contact us within two hours of delivery. We require photographic proof of the deceased animal, after which a replacement of at least equal value will be shipped. We are not responsible for delayed shipments due to the shipping company or weather.
Treasure State Reptiles is not responsible for freight/shipping charges on the replacement of animals, and there are no cash refunds of any kind, credit only. We reserve the right to make adjustments to this policy on a case-by-case basis.
Make sure to provide your complete and correct address information. We will not be responsible for delayed or returned shipments due to wrong street number, ZIP code, missing apartment number, etc.
Shipping - International
Unfortunately, we do not yet ship reptiles internationally.
