Store Policy

• Rising Sun Exotics reserves the right to refuse the sale of an animal to any customer over concern of improper care or prior abuse of other animals.

• All Deposits are 100% non-refundable. PayPal or Zelle is the preferred method of payment, but we will work with you if that’s not possible. Purchases made through PayPal will be done through "goods and services" and a 3% service fee will be inquired to your total price.

• In the case that a refund is requested, the seller may return the animal for a refund excluding shipping costs. As well, Rising Sun Exotics reserves the right to deduct a 30% restocking fee from the total purchased price. In most cases, the refund will be: (total price - minus 30% restocking fee - shipping costs= refund). Situations will be determined on a case-by-case basis between buyer and seller.

• Payment plans: 30-day payment plans are an option for purchases of $200 or more with a 30% non-refundable deposit, which does not include the cost of shipping. The full payment is due by the end of the 30 day period, if payment isn't completed or there is no communication with the buyer prior to the 30-day deadline then the sale will be void and you will be refunded your purchase aside from the 30% non-refundable deposit. In the case of a void sale, the purchase will be refunded within 72 hours. Failure to complete a payment plan with Rising Sun Exotics may influence future sales of other animals. We want you to have the animal that you want, so we’re willing to work with you in some cases.

• Shipping: Shipping is not included in the price of an animal unless stated otherwise in the description. There is no set price for shipping as it is determined by your location with the price generally ranging from $50-$70. Rising Sun Exotics uses ReptilesExpress for shipping necessities. We reserve the right to ship when both parties have proper shipping weather, it is also up to you to check destination weather.

• We also offer free local pickup in the Atlanta area but do not deliver.

• Live arrival for all animals is guaranteed. However, in the case of a DOA (Dead on Arrival), Rising Sun Exotics must be contacted within 30 minutes of the delivery time stamp on the shipper's website. Photo and video proof must be provided within the 30 minute time period, with all evidence being sent through email. As well, if you are not there to sign for your animal and it is left, your DOA guarantee is null and void.

• Rising Sun Exotics is not responsible for the health or life of an animal after it has been in the care of its new owner for more than 24 hours. In the case of an animal passing before the 24-hour window has been completed, the buyer will need to provide the following information: photos and video of the animal, a clear photo of the animal's enclosure, photos of temperatures of the room that the animal was kept in; as well as, the diet that was being fed to the animal. If a refund is necessary then the purchase will be refunded minus shipping and holding deposit costs. Rising Sun Exotics may request additional information for purposes that will determine whether a refund is necessary or not.

• Rising Sun Exotics does not guarantee sex. While we do our best to correctly sex every individual specimen sometimes we do make mistakes. Feel free to ask for pictures, and we’ll do our best to get you pore pictures.

• Dropped tails are a natural phenomenon in Cresteds. No refund or discount will be provided for animals that drop their tail before, during, or after shipment once a sale is initiated.

• To purchase an animal you must be 18 years of age or older, with proof of age upon request. No minors will be sold any animals.

• At Rising Sun Exotics we understand that we are all human and that things happen. If there is an issue with payment or something that is preventing you from finishing your purchase please contact us and we can work out the best solution for both parties.

•By sending payment or a deposit you are agreeing that you have read the terms and conditions for sale and have accepted them.

MorphMarket's Default Store Policy specifies any terms which have not been overridden by this Seller's stated policy.
