TERMS OF SALE
PAYMENT
Payment plans are available on a case-by-case basis. All payment plans will require a 25% non-refundable deposit. If a payment plan is not satisfied according to the original agreed-upon terms, the animal will be made available to other buyers again. Only funds above the 25% deposit will be returned to you. Payments will be accepted through Paypal or Zelle.
SHIPPING
All live animals will be shipped Monday-Wednesday via overnight shipping through FedEx. Animals can be held up to 3 weeks to accommodate buyer/seller schedules. Animals will always be held until the weather is safe and shipping delays are at a minimum. Animals will not be shipped if overnight lows are less than 40°F or daytime highs are above 85°F. Schock and Aww Reptiles is not responsible for any shipping delays or mishandling.
LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEE
All animals are guaranteed to arrive alive, barring any shipping delays or mishandling. You must pick up your package at the FedEx Hub within 2 hours of delivery. If the animal is shipped directly to your door, you must be home to accept the package. Any DOA animals must be reported within 1 hour of pickup or delivery and pictures of the deceased animal will be required. If these terms are not met, the live arrival guarantee will be voided.
HEALTH AND SEXING
I will do my absolute best to ensure that all animals are healthy and accurately sexed before shipping. Any health or sexing concerns must be reported within 48 hours of receipt of the animal to be considered for a partial refund, exchange, or return.
RETURNS AND REFUNDS
Refunds are not guaranteed (except in the previously outlined situations) and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. If a return and refund is warranted, the buyer will be responsible for return shipping, and the refund will be issued when the animal arrives safely back at Schock and Aww Reptiles.
BY PURCHASING AN ANIMAL FROM SCHOCK AND AWW REPTILES, YOU CONFIRM THAT YOU ARE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE, THAT THE ANIMAL IS LEGAL TO OWN IN YOUR STATE OR CITY OF RESIDENCE, AND THAT YOU AGREE TO THESE TERMS OF SALE.
