About

We are a husband and wife team of reptile lovers that spend most of our free time raising snakes! Designer Ball Pythons are our specialty, but we also have a small group of Angolan Pythons and Red Blood Pythons. In addition to our breeder animals, we keep a couple of pet reptiles including a Colombian Boa Constrictor and a Black & White Argentine Tegu. Our focus is producing the highest quality animals that we possibly can and providing excellent customer support. We spend several months planning our pairings each year to ensure that everything is carefully thought out. Our animals are given the best possible care and environment, and we are always looking for new, innovative ways to improve our animals’ lives. All of the babies that we offer for sale are babies we have worked hard to produce, we do not purchase animals for the purpose of reselling. Occasionally we will offer adults for sale, and some of these may be animals that we purchased in the past to add to our breeding group.

I have loved anything having to do with reptiles since I was about 10 years old. I read every book I could find on reptiles and researched almost obsessively for hours on end when I was growing up. I fondly remember spending most of my days out in the woods and creek behind my house looking for snakes, lizards, turtles, and other critters. My mom wasn’t a fan of my findings, but eventually stopped objecting to my “odd” pets. I purchased my first reptile, a Colombian Boa Constrictor, in 2006 after I came home from Basic Training for the Army. I then purchased an albino California Kingsnake and a normal Ball Python soon after. This set the wheels in motion for my quickly growing passion for ball pythons and all of the colors/patterns they came in. Back in 2007 there was not nearly the multitude of morphs that are around today! I started out with Pastels, Spiders, Albinos, and Pieds and still work with all of those morphs to this day!

The next chapter is a dark one that I don’t enjoy talking about much, but we all live and learn. My first marriage was not a happy one, but did fuel my passion for reptiles since my ex-husband was into reptiles as well. We parted ways in 2013 on bad terms while I was at the police academy and I almost got out of reptiles. I kept a small collection of animals after the divorce, but didn’t do much breeding for a couple of years. We did have a beautiful daughter together, however, and she thankfully is interested in reptiles too!

In August of 2014 I met Matt and we got married the following year in December of 2015. It was funny because Matt did not understand the snakes when we met, and was very reluctant to handle any of the snakes for a while. He was mostly scared of getting bit by the snakes, and hilariously enough his first bite was from a leopard gecko! Eventually he came around and started helping me clean and work with the animals. This turned into time spent together as we began carefully growing and building our collection into what it is today. In August of 2017 Matt had to take over all of the care as I left the country on a 9 month deployment with the Army. This was a challenging time for the both of us, but we made it through with the help of the internet and nightly chats about breeding plans, future goals, etc. Matt and I work on the business together full time and enjoy the opportunity to travel the country and meet people that share our passion for reptiles! Matt is a guru regarding anything construction related and takes the lead in all of our never-ending building dreams. We are currently in the process of building a new facility on a 9 acre farm we purchased in the fall of 2018!

Thank you for taking the time to read our story! If there is anything we can do to help you on your journey, please reach out to us.

Store Policy

Buyer must be 18 or older, or have written parental consent prior to purchase. Most of our collection feeds readily on frozen/thawed rats or mice, although most would take live if offered. We find frozen/thawed to be easiest for us and many of our customers.

SHIPPING
Shipping is a flat rate of $60 through FedEx Priority Overnight to anywhere in the continental US. Orders over $1,000 ship for free! For the safety of our animals, our default method of shipping is to your local FedEx Ship Center to be held for pickup. We are able to ship to a residence if requested and temperatures are reasonable (lows no less than 40 and highs no more than 90).

COVID SHIPPING UPDATE
Due to increasing FedEx shipping and delivery time delays, all shipments until further notice will be sent from our local FedEx Ship Center to yours (hub to hub). Shipments can be picked up at your local FedEx Ship Center any time during their business hours on the day of arrival. We can discuss shipping to a residence if there are extenuating circumstances that prevent you or a friend/family member from picking up at your local ship center. This will be considered on a case by case basis only if temperatures and weather at the origin, sorting hub, and destination are reasonable.
We are also limiting our weekly shipping days to Tuesday and Wednesday to allow FedEx an additional day to catch up from weekend volume.
Based on our own actual shipping statistics, residential shipments are 3 times more likely to experience significant delays (24 hours or more) than hub to hub shipments. For the safety of our animals, we feel this is the best way to proceed until FedEx service conditions improve.
Thank you for your consideration.

EXPORT
We are able to arrange shipping to the Netherlands and Hamm at this time, as well as Canada and Puerto Rico. Inquire for more info or to request shipping to other countries.

PAYMENT METHODS
We accept credit/debit, Cash App, and Venmo. Other forms of payment may be considered on a case by case basis. Animals will not be held without payment. Due to recent issues with Paypal freezing animal-related payments, we prefer not to use Paypal until these issues are resolved. Please see the following link for more details:

LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEE
We guarantee that all animals will arrive alive and healthy under the condition that animals being held at a hub are picked up promptly and animals shipped to your door are signed for and received on the first delivery attempt. In the very rare instance you receive a dead on arrival animal, it is your responsibility to contact us immediately, within 2 hours of arrival. You must provide us with photographic proof that the animal is dead, and we may request that you ship the body back so we can submit the animal for a necropsy. In the event of a DOA, if an acceptable replacement is not available a full refund will be issued including the shipping.

This guarantee is only applicable to domestic shipments where the animal(s) are shipped directly from us to the customer. Export shipments that do not go directly to the customer are exempt from the above guarantee.

TO YOUR DOOR SHIPMENTS
It is the buyers responsibility to be present to receive the package or designate an adult to be present to receive the package once a shipping date has been agreed upon. We do not guarantee live arrival on shipments to your door under extreme weather conditions (under 40 or over 90 degrees Fahrenheit) unless agreed otherwise. Live arrival guarantee is void on shipments not signed for and received on the first delivery attempt.

TO YOUR LOCAL HUB SHIPMENTS
It is the buyers responsibility to pick up the package at the hub promptly. Packages held at hubs are usually available for pickup around 8-9am so live arrival guarantee is void on any packages not picked up within 3 hours of being available for pickup at the hub, unless agreed otherwise.

PROPERLY SEXED/GENETICS GUARANTEES
We guarantee that any animal sold as a male or female has been properly sexed. In the event you receive an animal that has been incorrectly sexed, we will be glad to provide a shipping label to return the animal. Upon arriving alive and healthy back at our facility and being proven incorrectly sexed, a replacement animal will be sent at our cost. If an acceptable replacement is not available then a full refund shall be issued. Due to the increasing complexity of ball python projects and genes, we cannot 100% guarantee accuracy on incomplete dominant genes in our animals. We make every attempt to correctly identify genes based on our experience and when in doubt will list genes as "possible". Recessive genetics and correct gender are always fully guaranteed. Photo proof of genetics can be provided with your purchase on request.

PAYMENT PLANS
We will gladly work out short term payment plans with you if you can not pay in full right now.
Payment plans typically require a 25% non refundable deposit. We do not hold animals without a deposit.
*under $500 = 25% deposit and the balance paid off in 2 weeks
*$500-$750 = 25% deposit and the balance paid off in 30 days
*$751-$1000 = 25% deposit and the balance paid off in 45 days
*over $1000 = 25% deposit and the balance paid off in 60 days

Animals purchased this way will be shipped once the balance has been paid in full.
Failure to fulfill the predetermined payment schedule decided when the payment plan is started will result in a loss of the 25% non refundable deposit and any money on the balance after the 25% deposit will go towards credit on a future purchase. No cash refunds will be given.

Any variation of the set payment plan schedule is on a case by case basis. Don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or would like to further discuss your payment plan options.
