Please read through our terms of service prior to purchase to ensure you understand the steps prior to purchasing a gecko from The Gecko Bakery.
The Gecko Bakery reserves the right to refuse sales to any person for any reason.
Payment Terms
Payment is accepted through PayPal for purchases that will be shipped. Cash is accepted for in person pick ups only.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Please be sure before purchase. I will not refund if you are unhappy about waiting for weather to clear before shipment. Health of my animals always comes first and shipping will be done as soon as it is safe to do so.
No holds guaranteed without payment.
Payment plans are accepted on animals over $200 and require a 25% NON REFUNDABLE down payment. Deposit cannot be transferred to another animal
Payment plans may not go over one month. If buyer does not respond to communication within 30 days for remaining payments, animal will be posted back for sale and deposit will be kept.
Local Pickups
If you live in the DC metro area, we are able to arrange a pick up or delivery up to an hour away from my location. Geckos need to be kept at correct temperature while on their way home to keep health guarantee. We have very hot summers and cold winters - please ensure they are in the 70s on the drive home!
Shipping
We ship using FedEx next day delivery through shipyourreltiles.com. The health and safety of our animals is paramount and shipping will not occur if it is over 80 degrees or under 40 degrees at either the shipping or receiving locations. We only ship on Tuesday and Wednesday. We will happily hold animals until weather is safe for shipping. Shipping is at our discretion.
I require hub to hub shipping to ensure the animals safety. You must confirm receipt of animal within an hour of delivery to activate health guarantee. You may text or Facebook messenger me the code on the bottom of the cup to confirm receipt.
Please ensure you have the correct address for shipping, as an incorrect address voids the health guarantee. Not all FedEx locations accept live animals, it is your responsibility to make sure the hub you choose does accept live animals prior to scheduling delivery as a fedex location that does not accept live animals also voids your health guarantee.
Shipping is calculated individually for each order.

Gecko health is our top priority as we strive to breed the best pets and breeders possible.
If your animal displays issues within the first week, please contact me as quickly as possible as I will try to work with you to help resolve the issue. Please contact me within 12 hours of issues.
THIS EXCLUDES ISSUES DUE TO IMPROPER CARE, INJURY AND HIGH TEMPERATURES.
Proper housing and diet are crucial for this species. We recommend pangea or repashy crested gecko diet and live feeder bugs - we rotate between dubia roaches, meal worms and other "treat" bugs dusted in calcium. You must be feeding a proper diet and keeping them in correct temperatures for our health guarantee to be valid. Please Research before purchase! I am happy to discuss caging, diet and other care prior to purchase. I love these animals and want to help you and your new gecko start off on the right foot.
Crested Gecko Tails
Crested Geckos tails occasionally drop during shipping or during other stressful situations or, on occasion, for no reason at all. If a tail drops during shipping or after we are not responsible. Tails are not guaranteed and a lack of tail does not indicate a discount, change in price or a reason for a partial refund. Geckos can live and breed without tails and are not worth less for not having one.
Sick Animals/Dead on Arrival
If an animal comes in sick, please let me know ASAP so I can try to help you remedy before it is too late.
In the very rare case that a gecko arrives dead, we require photo proof within two hours of arrival.
In the case of a dead animal, we will work together to either find a suitable replacement or a refund, depending on the situation.
Sexing Policy
Sex is not guaranteed unless specifically stated as Male or Female. If animal is noted as probable male, female or unsexed we cannot guarantee but will do our best to sex accurately. We are not responsible for animals that end up the opposite of indicated probable sex for probable males, females or unsexed.
Color Policy
We strive to provide the most accurate photos possible for every animal for sale. Additional photos can also be provided on request. Crested Gecko colors can change drastically as they age and as such are not guaranteed
