Top Snake is a medium scale breeder of Ball Pythons, Green Tree Pythons, Brazilian Rainbow Boas, Dumeril Boas, and Bredli Pythons. Rest assured that our snakes are very well loved and looked after. We like to handle each of our snakes daily so that they are accustomed to human touch.
Store Policy
PAYMENTS
Payment plans will be made available on a case-by-case basis, based on the purchases price of the animal. Flexible payment plans are available. Payment plans consist of a 25-50% non-refundable deposit followed by 2/3 instalments to settle the outstanding amount within 60-90 days. All payment plans must be agreed in writing on our sales agreement form before the transaction can take place. No animals will be released and/or shipped without payment in full. All prices excluding shipping costs. We currently accept cash, credit card, and EFT (reflecting in account before collection).
GENETIC GUARANTEES YOU CAN TRUST
Every snake produced at Top Snake is immediately photographed and assigned a unique ID code. You will also be issued with a Top Snake breeder certificate which details the relevant breeding information for the animal and a photograph ID.
IDENTIFICATION OF MULTI-GENE ANIMALS
When hatching multi gene animals, breeders will identify the combination of genes by making an educated assumption based on the parental stock that produced the offspring and on past breeding experience (i.e. “Theoretical ID”). In these cases, the genetics can only be verified through actual breeding trials. All Top Snake customers should understand the risk associated with purchasing multi gene animals with a “Theoretical ID”. Sometimes the multi gene animal you end up with may prove to have a different genetic make-up than anticipated. This could turn out to be good if the customer ends up with an extra gene and/or a new gene or it could be bad if the customer ends up with less and/or an undesirable gene. Be sure to understand the difference between definitive and theoretical gene identification on animals you purchase from Top Snake or elsewhere. The only guarantee that anyone can make regarding theoretical ID’s is mistakes will happen, presumptions will on occasion prove false. We can only guarantee that multi-gene animals with a “Theoretical ID” will be identified to the best of our ability and we will never intentionally mislead or deceive a customer regarding the genetic make-up of an animal.
SEX
The only guarantee that anyone can make regarding sexing of the animals is mistakes will happen on occasion. We can only guarantee the sex to the best of our ability and we will never intentionally mislead or deceive a customer regarding the sex of an animal.
HEALTH
All animals are guaranteed to be healthy and eating before leaving our care.
EXPORT
We unfortunately only consider exports in excess of $5000 of snakes as shipments smaller than this are not financially viable due to the shipping fees vet permits cites permits etc. Shipping fees permits etc are around another $2500 depending on the country and country requirements.
OTHER
We do not offer a return policy after an animal has left our care. If you are not happy with the animal, it can be surrendered back to us without any refund/exchange etc. We do not guarantee live arrival for international and/or regional shipments. Once shipments are cleared and delivered to the cargo desk and/or the animal is handed over to a third party for shipping purposes, we no longer assume responsibility for the shipment.
