Veteran Exotics is owned and operated by Chuck Gibbs, a West Point Graduate, Retired Attack Helicopter Pilot, and 100% Disabled Army Veteran. We have over 30 years' worth of experience raising and breeding quality reptiles and exotics.
Store Policy
GUARANTEE:
We guarantee live delivery as long as someone is available to sign for the snake. If there are any problems with the snake we must be notified within 4 hours. In the event that we need to replace an animal, we will either issue a credit for the value or send a similar replacement at our discretion. All animals are perfect in every respect and photographed upon shipping. Though we are happy to help with any care issues you may have (feeding, housing, breeding, etc...) we make no guarantee beyond the live arrival of a healthy animal.
PRICING:
We attempt to market our animals at a competitive price without harming the overall pricing of the industry. We do not wholesale out our inventory, so do not bother with ridiculous offers. The Reptile Industry is constantly fluctuating so prices are subject to change without notice.
HOLDS:
Animals are sold on a first come first serve and our prices are very competitive, so we will generally do not hold animals on good faith. We sometimes will hold a snake for 24 hours with a $25 deposit. To hold the snake for longer than this we require a 20% non-refundable deposit (based on sales price). Until we receive payment, we will not hold any animal for more than 24 hours.
PAYMENT PLANS:
Sales under $200: we normally will NOT accept a payment plan
Sales between $200 - $500: 30 days, with the balance due within 30 days of initial deposit
Sales between $500 - $1000: 60 days, with the balance due within 60 days of initial deposit
Sales over $1000: 90 days, with the balance due within 90 days of initial deposit
* All deposits are Non-Refundable. If you default on a payment plan, your animal will be put back on the market, and you will forfeit your deposit unless you purchase the animal. If you have paid additional monies, you will be refunded in full LESS your deposit.
DEPOSITS:
We require a 20% deposit to hold any animal. All deposits are non-refundable unless we are unable to deliver the snake through no fault of your own.
PAYMENT:
Under no circumstances will we ship a snake without payment in full! If you choose to pay via check, money order, or PayPal e-check, we will not ship until the payment has cleared our bank. We accept Cash, Cashier’s Check, Money Order, Personal Check, Zelle, Venmo, and Credit Cards via PayPal. All funds must clear our bank before the payment is considered complete. We do not TAX customers, but a 5% DISCOUNT is given for buyers willing to use Zelle, PayPal Friends & Family, Venmo, or meet with CASH to help offset admin fees.
SHIPPING:
Shipping is done on Mon-Wed for a flat rate of $55 on all sales under $1000. We ship via FedEx Overnight which guarantees next day delivery by 10:30am to most areas. We use insulated boxes, heat, or cool packs as needed. We only ship when temperatures are between 40-90 degrees.
