About
We are hobbyist breeders who strive to produce high quality & well-structured reptiles in a range of wacky colours.
We are passionate about a variety of different species including Leopard Geckos, Crested Geckos, Bearded Dragons and Gargoyle Geckos. This season we will also begin projects with our Ball Pythons & African Fat Tailed Geckos.
All of the reptiles at Wacky Exotics are looked after with the upmost care.
Store Policy
By purchasing a reptile from Wacky Exotics, you are acknowledging that you have understood and agree to the conditions listed below.

The welfare of our animals is most important.
Customers will be asked to provide proof of housing and exhibit a basic knowledge for the species before a sale is made.
All animals will be delivered with a genetics sticker stating their ID, morph, hatch date & sex.
Customers who have placed deposits will receive regular updates and are welcome to use any photos we provide; If posting on social media, please give credit.
Payment

A 20% non-refundable deposit will hold the reptile of your choice.
Payment plans can be arranged on a personal basis situation for Reptiles over £100.
Once agreed to, payments need to be made on the agreed dates. If unable to do so, we should be contacted at the earliest opportunity to arrange a new date.
Failure to contact us will result in us re-listing the reptile and forfeiting your down payment. We will not chase customers for payment!
We have the right to cancel a transaction at any given point if we feel a customer isn’t fully committed to providing the best care for our reptiles. A full refund would be given.
Shipping

Collection is available from Ware, Hertfordshire & the IHS or SRAS shows.
Customers within a 40-mile radius of Ware, Hertfordshire, are eligible for deliveries throughout the week for a small fee.
If you do not qualify for this, we can arrange one of the following couriers who travel the UK once monthly:
Reptimove (£40-50 Mainland, £60 Scotland)
Ridgeway couriers (£60 up to Newcastle, £80 from Newcastle up to & incl Dundee)
Courier fees need to be paid before we can book you on to an appropriate run.
No animals will be shipped until full payment is received.
If using a courier, please contact us within 2 hours of arrival to validate for your 10-day health guarantee.
We are not responsible for a gecko dropping its tail during transit. No compensation will be given.
Health guarantee

The health of our animals is the number one priority.
All available Reptiles will have been eating, shedding & defecating as expected for the species, since hatching, and unless otherwise clearly stated in the listing, have never exhibited any issues.
All of our reptiles are sold with a 10-day health guarantee.
If using a courier service, remember to message us within two hours of arrival for this to be valid.
NOTE, the health guarantee will only cover animals that have been quarantined during this period!
In the rare event that your animal arrives deceased or appears to be lethargic, please contact us immediately with photo/video evidence so we can help remedy the issue as quickly as possible. All Animals are sold with our business card containing my personal mobile number - There is no excuse for delayed contact.
If the animal sadly passes or was dead on arrival, multiple reptiles of the same species & equal value, will be selected for customers to choose a suitable replacement.
We will also cover the courier costs due to the distress.
If a replacement cannot be found, we will issue the amount paid in credit which can then be used when the customer wishes.
This reimbursement is only available to customers who notified us of a dead-on arrival within the two hours period or communicated the difficulties their reptile experienced within the first 10 days.
Refunds will not be given under any circumstances.
Our reptiles are not sold prior to reaching the following weights or ages:
Leopard Geckos – 18g
Crested Geckos – 8g
Bearded Dragons – 8 weeks
Gargoyle Geckos – 8g
African Fat Tailed Geckos – 12g
Sex

Reptiles will either be marked as:
‘Male’ or ‘Female’ if their sex is guaranteed.
‘Poss Male’ or ‘Poss Female’ if we have a suggestion to believe but cannot guarantee.
‘Unsexed’ meaning they are too small/young to gain a good enough opinion.
Colour
-
The colours described in the listing is a reference to how the reptile appears at this time and may not be their adult appearance.
Feel free to ask any questions you may have about colour/pattern changes, and we will do our best to answer them.
Care

If there are any uncertainties in your mind eg with husbandry, or you need advice - don’t hesitate to contact us!
Although the health guarantee lasts for 10 days, we will always be on hand to help those with Wacky Exotics lineage, no matter their age.
If you become unable to care for your reptile, we will happily take them in and find them a forever home. We will not issue any funds for doing this.
