Shipping & DOA Policy
Axolotls are legal in most places in the U.S. except for California, Maine, New Jersey, Washington D.C., and Virginia. In New Mexico, they are legal to own, but illegal to import from other states. West Florida Axolotls will not ship to you if you are in one of these states and do not have a valid permit.
Live Arrival Guarantee Axolotls
WFA&E has live arrival guarantee and accept PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, FB pay or any credit card, if in the rare case an axolotl passes in shipping, a replacement and or refund will be granted only if we are contacted within one hour of delivery with photo/video evidence of the deceased axolotl in the bag, before opening and after opening and must be videotaped as they are placed into their new container. We do not refund shipping costs.
After one hour of delivery of the parcel, WFA&E is no longer responsible for the well being of the axolotl/s as we are unable to control the temperature or water conditions. This is very important to keep updated with tracking information that we will provide to you and PayPal.
Shipping is Mondays through Wednesdays, however, we need at least 2 days' notice to send an axolotl due to the fact they need to have been fasting (So they do not excrete waste into the bag). Shipping is a flat rate of $25 USPS Priority, overnight is by weight and Zipcode but is roughly $80. If you would like an exact quote please Contact us about overnight shipping. There is a 25% cancellation fee of an order after it has been placed but there are NO refunds on orders that have already been shipped out.
Shipping reptiles OVERNIGHT ONLY!
Reptiles must be overnighted via Fed-ex shipping. No exceptions, please do not click USPS Priority shipping for reptiles, you will have additional fees. Overnight shipping is by weight and zip code but is roughly $80 and has set shipping for that amount; if you would like an exact quote please contact WFA&E prior to ordering.
The shipping address on PayPal must match the delivery address. If we cannot fulfill your order for any reason, we will notify you as soon as we possibly can.
We strive to make certain that product specifics presented on the website are correct and up to date. Nevertheless, any mistake or error in any information on the website, or in any other form of communication made by us, may and will be rectified.
Pictures of products (excluding crested geckos) on the website are proposed as a model (Stock photo) and the product received may fluctuate somewhat in some regards due to the fact that not every animal has identical markings.
